The studio is located on a ground floor of the barn which is perfect for people who cannot handle stairs very well. It is one of three self contained units on the property. There is a main house and carriage house. The carriage house contains the studio on the first floor and loft on the upper floor. The cozy space has a mini frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Also, the studio comes with access to the shared back yard. We have used VRBO many times & have had good, if not great experiences. Our host was very good with communication prior to & the day we arrived-we found we had no utensils, cups or plates. They were dropped off quickly. We had some issues with the room- there was a broken chair, the toilet wasn't working properly & the seat was broken, the TV was stuck in demo mode & the remote had dead batteries, so we couldn't control the sound. Another thing, the above tenants had a dog that barked for over 2 hours when they went out. He did it the next night too. We decided to deal with it & message our host the next day. In the morning, we went to make coffee & found the previous tenant had left a dirty filter & pot & there were no filters to use. I messaged the host about what I listed here & never got a response. I was tempted to pack up & leave, not stay the second night, but we did-it was paid for. For the money spent, the place should have been in good shape & basic things like utensils/cups/coffee filters should have been there as advertised. I was disappointed that the couch & rug were as beat/torn up as they were-the photographs weren't accurate. & I'm a pet owner & appreciate places that welcome them. However, if your dog has anxiety when you leave & howls & barks incessantly, other arrangements should be made. Invest in real flatware & dishes- you said you're "eco-friendly". We had to change our dates twice due to bad travel weather, namely snow storms. The bed was very comfortable. The two small things I want to mention are that the towels in the bathroom really need an upgrade, and if you have sensitive hearing the vent system blower might call for ear plugs. ##### Catherine O. We were gone most of the day , but the house and location was just perfect for our needs. It had a fridge, coffee pot, microwave and water cooler with fresh, clean and cold water. The studio was very spacious for two people. The only suggestion I have is to bring your own bath towels even though they were provided. Finally, the barn is adorable. Thank you, Frank ##### Lydia P. The host gave us a refund but vrbo took $68\. non returnable. We are both widow and widower and have and have tight budgets at the loss.
