We recently stayed at this cabin for a family getaway, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was good—just a short walk to the lake. The price was economical, making it a good value for a family trip.Prior to our stay, communication with the property was smooth and timely, which we appreciated. However, after we checked in, we encountered a couple of issues. There were no replacement trash bags provided, which was inconvenient for a longer stay. More importantly, we discovered that the master bathroom didn’t have hot water in the shower or bathtub. I notified the property manager about this, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive a response.If these maintenance and communication issues are addressed, this cabin would be an excellent choice for future stays.Despite these minor inconveniences, the cabin had a cozy charm and we still enjoyed our time. ##### Taylor W. Even the walls and light fixtures we were 3 families with kids and we were really dissatisfied and disappointed that this beautiful home had bugs everywhere in the bedrooms, also one the bathrooms toilet doesn’t flush so it was really inconvenient for us to fill up a bucket every time you had to use the bathroom, the location is perfect for staying specifically if you have kids that likes to explore the woods lol but sadly we were unable to enjoy anything!! Spent most of our playtime at the lake fishing or swimming. Water was pretty high so we disnt have access in all the spots we hoped to check out. The owner was amazing and easy to communicate needs to! (Even left a little gift/small decorations for my husband since it was a surprise birthday getaway) The main room/kitchen area made for the most perfect hang out spot. Our kids loved exploring the outdoors and the adults had a wonderful time unplugging from the hustle and bustle for a simple, but perfect weekend. We loved our time! Many thanks! ##### Robin T. Some ceiling fan remotes didn’t have batteries. The light over the cars table didn’t work. The internet was extremely slow and we only had 4 roll of toilet paper and a couple of small trash bags for 15 people staying 5 days. The host did not check the propane tank and it was EMPTY! We were only offered to stay in a condo that only part of our group could stay and to PAY ANOTHER RENTAL MORE MONEY. The condo, was nothing I would have reserved to say the least. We were given half of our money back for the original rental. Since, asking for a full refund since we had to pay for another rental, they have now ghosted me. Absolutely ridiculous service. I would never consider renting from this host again.
