We.stayed as a couple in the romatic eoom at Hotel 3858. Thia included two fantastic baths which we enjoyed after a full day of hiking. The room was well thought theough, clean and the staff very friendly, eveb offering milk for our coffee and tea.

The rooms are amazing using lots of natural materials. When i first saw the concrete bed i thought it would be like sleeping on a bed of nails. It is the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. We would stay there again.

If Heyfield has an oasis this is it! What a wonderful property they have at Motel 3858. It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre. We bought a bottle of wine from the bottlo, had a luxurious outdoor bath in our courtyard, then grabbed a takeaway Pizza to enjoy while watching a Netflix movie on the smart TV (using your own Netflix account). A really nice night in as part of a long road trip. Grant was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Motel 3858 was a unique and surprising experience in the "middle of nowhere", or the "middle of everywhere" as the local marketing says. I can't rate it highly enough.

Love how different this hotel is. Has great room facilities including a great split air system. Very reasonable priced mini bar with a good range of products. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to park. The local wildlife also love the hotel and some frogs have made it home (suggest some ear plugs as they can be loud during the evening/night).

Beautiful room with elegantly designed courtyard, full of plants & a fish pond with a fountain. The room was lovely and the spa was hot. We were even offered free eggs and veggies from the owners chooks/veggie patch. Amazing stay. Highly recommend

Absolutely gorgeous place! No surprises, just like the pictures. The motel has gorgeous styling. Clean lines, chic boutique vibes meets funky industrial /rural edge. The individual garden courtyards are beautiful and relaxing. The hot tub was fabulous. The icing on the cake is that it's pet friendly. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return here in the future.
