Lovely staff, but the hotel could be so much better by upgrading the rooms and increasing availability of food on offer. The gardens could also be beautiful if maintained properly.
Regular bus service to and from Helensburgh which has lots of restaurants to choose from, but would be nice to be able to eat in the hotel if have been out all day.
Really enjoyed the hotel just a few minor issues, the bedroom was to hot and went to the bar and had to wait about 10 mins for a drink as the girl in the bar area was only 17 and had to wait for a older member of staff to come, overall it was a good stay

Liked: Staff & service
The room was fairly clean but old. Needs renovations. But the staff was very kind and the breakfast delicious!
Lovely relaxing location. Hotel was very clean and all staff really helpful. We were only in the area for the one night and picked the perfect spot. Sadly the restaurant was closed so no evening meal other wise it would have been an excellent score.
Staff were excellent, but the experience was badly let down by the condition of the room which was in dire need of a refurbishment.
Breakfast was poor with a toaster which took an age to lightly brown the bread, croissants which were clearly not fresh and bananas which were rotten throughout.
Such a shame, because it's location was excellent. We definitely expected better.
Staff were excellent and plenty of them. The hotel was in good condition and looked after.
Only a basic continental breakfast and no other food availability that we could see February so winter month. Hotel was lovely and warm everything we went. Occasionally the church bells nearby was an issue as it was 24/7.
