- The kitchen, dining area and living room is spacious and open plan.

- Your own private garden with charcoal BBQ, dining table and sun loungers. Also access to the large communal flower gardens with an additional gas BBQ and more sun loungers.

- Large heated indoor swimming pool, steam room, outdoor hot tub, weights gym. These facilities are shared with 2 holiday lets.

A lovely place to stay!

Swallow’s Nest had all we needed, was well presented and clean. We all enjoyed the pool/spa facilities available as well as the beautiful gardens. We were made to feel welcome and appreciated the info on the local area and suggestions for things to do. Would recommend 😊

A gem close to Hastings

We really enjoyed our stay at Swallows Nest. The cottage is spacious, light and well equipped. We enjoyed the countryside, local walks and of course the swimming pool, the steam room and the lovely garden. Chris was very helpful making the booking and check-in very smooth. No surprise that the cottage is booked until late November, but we will be back :-) Thank you, Chris and Erick

Near perfect break

Cottage is in a good location, most places are easy to get to. Chris the host was on hand to help out with anything issues we had (not that we really had any). He made some great recommended walking routes (be aware though as one of the beaches was a nudist beach and we got. A bit of a shock!!) Pretty much got use of the pool and hot tub whenever we wanted to use it which was a lot! The beds were really comfortable, so much so that we are looking to get the same mattress for our house. We would certainly have no hesitation recommending Swallows Nest and even my dad is now looking a booking for next year!

Will definitely be back

Haven't been able to take the kids swimming this year due to covid so having access to the pool, which we have had to ourselves whenever we have gone to use it has been just wonderful. The setting is beautiful, Chris and Erick are lovely and we have been pretty much left to ourselves. Gorgeous walks and beaches locally (though some very steep hills which has been a challenge as I gave birth 9 weeks ago!) Property has everything we needed as a family of 5 including a newborn, 3 year and 7 year old. Pool was warm - though we did have new baby in a warm wetsuit just in case. And gardens are gorgeous.

Swallows Nest stay

Great property with all mod cons and very clean. Lovely gardens and great location close to the sea and nice walks. We enjoyed using the pool. Chris and Erik were there if we needed them, but didn’t intrude on our privacy. We have already booked our return trip.

Luxury new year break

Would highly recommend a stay at this luxury hideaway. Everything you need at your finger tips. Chris and Erick made sure our stay was everything we needed. Beautiful area with some extremely pleasant walks. A short drive to the busy town of Hastings but far enough away For peace and quiet. Use of all the facilities and we never had to share with other guests. The cottage is of a very high standard and extremely clean and spacious.

40th Birthday and proposal

Absolutely fantastic from the off, a lovely welcome with the lights left on as we arrived at night. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possibly want or need. Chris called in to see us the following day as we hadn't been round to see him but I unfortunately was very Ill and couldn't peel myself of the sofa. He came and brought us some info on the area and things to do and places to visit. We will definitely be staying here again. Although I was ill I still had a fabulous stay

We had wonderful time.I could not fault anything.Chris and Eric were lovely .Presention was exceptional;fruit,fresh flowers and the welcome pack,above all else was superb.excellent,it was spotless to say the least.The swimming pool;absolutely lovely,very private. Loads of floater toys,huge just lovely. Hot tub FAB ,although the weather wasn’t good the hot tub was lovely and private. Bed,bedding etc excellent. There is not many places where you can walk barefoot;lovely clean floors,what more can I say.All in all it was a really lovely holiday break.

Absolute gem. Bed was so comfortable, shower was great, onsite swimming pool and hot tub. The kitchen had every utensil you could need and space to put your own food. This is the best property we have stayed at.

Relaxed family holiday

Swallowd Nest was very comfortable and Eric & Chris extremely helpful - they had thought of everything. The pool kept at 30 degrees was perfect and we had it to ourselves whenever we went in; beautiful gardens and all very well kept and the lay-out of the complex meant that we never saw any of the other guests so we had a very private, relaxed stay which is what we wanted. Perfect location for restaurants; activities and groceries. We would highly recommend - we had a great stay.

Fantastic holiday!

Just got back from a lovely stay at swallows nest. Great location, lovely walks. Pool was fantastic, kids loved it!! Really warm which is great for kids (and me!) and lots of inflatables to play with. Some nice games for kids to play with in the cottage as well which was a nice surprise. Walk to Covehurst bay was lovely, I was worried it would be a bit difficult with kids (age 3 and 5) but wasn't too bad! Thanks for a lovely time! Would love to stay again.

Family of 4 very happy in this lovely cottage. Everything you would need is provided for you with fantastic hosts. Excellent swimming pool and jacuzzi, all very clean and safe. Highly recommend this excellent base to stay to go exploring.

Swallows nest is a perfect holiday home.

All previous reviews are correct this property is stunning with lots of extra touches to give a 5 star experience. We swam, sunbathed, walked in the extensive Nature reserve, accessible from across the road of this property, enjoyed downtime in the gardens, beached and visited local hostelries. The owners are fantastic, approachable and informative too. 5 of us slept in this cottage ( one being a small six year old) and we were not cramped with 3 massive Smart T.Vs in the property we could all watch what we wanted with no arguments.... 2 ensuites again kept the peace! Games and sound systems were provided so music could be enjoyed easily too. The swimming pool with the inflatable unicorn and whale were ace. We were lucky enough to see the Red Arrows put on a fantastic air display at Old Hastings which was about a 10 minute drive from the property. A great place to stay if you want to explore the South East of if you just want to recharge your batteries and have a rest then Swallows Nest should be booked.
