The main floor includes a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom with full-sized bed, and a newly renovated full bath. Upstairs is a private king-sized bedroom with full bathroom, as well as a queen-sized bed in the loft. Downstairs offers a large bar, TV/sitting room, large card/game table, a fold down double murphy bed and a pullout single bed. At Bear Pause Retreat, you can have some fun creating your own culinary masterpieces with the extra-large, brand new propane/charcoal grill (propane provided) – or gourmet kitchen . At night, there is both an outdoor firepit or indoor gas fireplace to enjoy. The Hideout offers the following amenities for rental guests: Gym, pool (in season), indoor and outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, golf course, putt-putt course, private ski hill. You'll also be a short drive from Historic Hawley and Honesdale. There you can enjoy the day on the water via public boat launches or boat rentals or eat at one of many restaurants in town. We aim to provide an impeccably functioning home that is superbly clean with everything you should need to unwind and relax. We will send a guest book (post booking) with everything we provide, including pictures of everything included in the kitchen. We aim to keep a lightly stocked kitchen with, coffee, salt/pepper, and a handful of different seasonings. All forms and docs should be filled out at least 5 business days in advance of the rental and within 36 hours of your booking or the community will assess a $100 fee. Up to 7 amenity badges are provided during your stay. Absolutely no more than 7 people and 3 cars are allowed on the lot. No other guests can visit the Lot while you are there. All names and ages must be registered on the application when submitted. HOUSE RULES Please note there are neighbors around the house and sound travels far. We are trying to create a serene getaway for our guests as well as be respectful to our neighbors. So we ask that outside noise be kept to reasonable levels. To ensure this environment we have outdoor noise monitors. Well behaved dogs under 30lbs allowed on a case-by-case basis for an additional $75 per pet fee. Please note we have a minimum age requirement of 25 years old. We require the majority of guests to be above 25 years old, with the exception of families with children. Please note guests must fill out a rental agreement and rental form with the association 5 days prior to arrival. A link will be provided post booking. Parking limited to 3 cars, NO RVs. We aim to set the standard for short-term rental experiences. We will proactively notify you when early check-in and/or late check-out are possible. Grocery Shopping - You can now use the Rosie app to order grocery delivery from the local Lake Region IGA in Hawley, PA Guest Access: Guests let themselves in via a Smart Lock and have no owner interaction (but we are always available via a text or call!) My boys loved the basement. They felt like they had their own apartment. The AC kept things cool, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the enclosed porch was perfect for morning coffee—especially with our Beagle safely by our side!Great host, great communication. Amenities are nice! Very quiet area for relaxing and giving yourself much needed peace of mind from everyday stress. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, but we still got in some fishing time and walks on trails. The property itself was stunning- the cabin was spacious and had all the supplies you need from kitchen stuff, to extra blankets and pillows, to board games, to a cabinet full of contact information. Communication was always very clear and prompt. Lots to do in the area and on the complex itself! The clubhouse also has really good food and is very kid friendly!
