Fishing piers and the Ship Island Ferry are also close by--take a memorable trip to an island with Civil War fort and beautiful island beaches and you'll probably see schools of dolphins following the ferry. Front bedroom has antique full bed with a slideout single mattress, if needed. Sleeper sofa in living room has double gel foam mattress. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. \* BATHS: Two baths--ensuite to master bedroom has vanity/shower/toilet, and hall bath has tub/shower/vanity/toilet. \* KITCHEN: Fridge with icemaker, glass top electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender, combo drip/Keurig coffee maker,14-cup drip coffee maker, toaster, and tons of dishes, pots/pans and utensils. New cabinets and granite countertops. Dining table seats four, adjacent bar seats 4. \* TV & INTERNET: 50" smart TV in living room. Master bedroom has smart TV for streaming and local programming. High speed unlimited WIFI. \* UTILITY ROOM: Washer/dryer and laundry supplies. Iron/ironing board. \* YARD: Large back yard is totally fenced with a 6 ft. wood privacy fence so very pet friendly. Cement patio in back with, picnic table, umbrella table/chairs for socializing. Front porch has charming swing. \* PARKING: Side parking area can accommodate three vehicles, RV, boat, trailer. \* GAMES AND BEACH GEAR: Beach chairs, beach towels, board games and kid games inside. \* DAY TRIPS: Exciting day trips to the New Orleans French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and plantation museums are less than a two-hour drive from the Flamingo Beach Cottage. Or, head east to Mobile and the battleship and submarine for a fun day trip. \* PETS: Pets are welcome but must be pre-approved by Owner. No puppies or aggressive breeds. $20 fee per pet per night. Two small dogs (under 30 pounds) or one large dog (up to 80 pounds). Sorry, but no cats due to allergies. Exceptions on a case-by-case basis as authorized by Host. If guests bring any unauthorized pet(s), the deposit will be forfeit. The cleaning company doesn't charge extra upfront for pet(s) but any evidence left behind (hair, messes, etc.) will result in extra cleaning fees depending on how much the cleaning company needs to do. SMOKING: Outside only. Deposit will be forfeit if smoke smell detected inside house. HOST SUPPLIES: All linens, towels, blankets, etc.. Shampoo/conditioner, bath soap, hair dryers, hand soap, kitchen soap, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies. RENT TERMS: Nightly fee is based on four people (two per bedroom). For every additional person the cost is $20 per person per night. Maximum occupancy is 7 people. No charge for infants; all children count as guests. I saw where the train was, but we live close to the tracks ourselves and it was fine for us. It's very clean and the layout was perfect for us. Very clean and in a safe location! It is by a train but we actually loved it! Our kids got excited everytime they heard the train coming and loved counting how many cars were on the train! The house is well stocked for cooking , laundry etc and it just feels like a home! The beds were very comfortable too! Property manager was great to communicate with! She was great at communicating and stocked the rental with lots of great local info and everything we could have needed during our stay. Being by the beach, it was great having the washer and dryer. Salute’s Italian is a must, we went 4 times during our stay. We appreciated her stocking beach supplies so we didn’t have to fit beach chairs into our road trip packing. Everything we needed was within a 5-10 min drive. We also took our pooch and was so happy not to have to put him on a leash due to the fenced in yard front and back. The train was a bit much in the beginning but after a couple of day we never noticed it. Debra was great as well, met us as we were unloading and gave us a fresh picked magnolia that smelled amazingly. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Tina H. We loved the kitchen as it had everything we needed to cook and easily clean up! The games were an added bonus when it rained to keep the kids entertained! The couch slept our 2 younger children perfectly and was actually very comfortable! The train is close (didn't bother us), but ear plugs were in the night stands if needed! I travel alone with my dog, and I couldn’t have found a better place on the beach to stay! The condo was very nicely decorated and updated; clean; bright and airy; and had everything that I needed for my 2 week stay. Not to mention that my dog was welcome! The owner was attentive and truly seemed to care that I was comfortable. Along with being a great place to call home for my time away, the location was ideal. I could sit on the deck and watch the ocean - both sunrise and night moon were spectacular (when the fog let us). There were enough restaurants, bars, patios and plenty of beach walking all right there. I never had to get in my car unless I wanted to! I also enjoyed the music right next door off the patio. It was never too loud or too late. (And if it would have been, all you had to do was go in and shut the deck doors and it was plenty quiet!) I highly recommend this Tiki Condo…and definitely will go back if I return to SPI!!! ❤️ ##### Denise R. Place was clean and well supplied with all the extras you need. Train takes a minute to get used to, but it's not a big deal. Short walk or drive to the beach and lots of good eats around.
