Unfortunately, we had a pretty bad experience staying in this hotel. We specifically stayed in room #5, so not sure if other rooms were better. These are the following reasons why are stay was so bad:
Room: cockroach on the floor (!!), room too small (not even big enough to open suit case on floor), walls recently painted but the room was very outdated and the ceiling was full of stains and cracks.
Bathroom: old, frayed, thin towels. Even though renovated, the toilet was too small (even uncomfortable to sit on the toilet). Shower only had lukewarm water, no warm or hot water.
Noise- apparently, there is a night club very close to the hotel, and it blasting very loud music until at least 2 AM - impossible to sleep!
Price- the price was way too high for this hotel. I’m pretty sure the price was inflated because it was Day of the dead weekend, but this hotel should not be worth more than $30 per night. We feel ripped off!
Only good things were the great location, and the two staff were friendly (that’s why I’m am giving 2 stars instead of 1). But needless to say, we had a terrible experience.
The only good thing was the workers and the location. We were forced to stay in a dumpy hotel the first night- moved to this hotel 2nd night and forced to move again the third night. The “double “ room is soooooo small! If you have long legs you will not be able to sit on the toilet- be wary
