We took the 3-Seen-Tour, a boat and walking tour of three of the lakes in the district (http://www.schifffahrt-grundlsee.at/die-drei-seen-tour/). For each leg of the three lakes, you grouped with different sets of people based on how much time it took you to complete the walking portion of the tour. On our third leg, we were in a small boat with an outboard motor that landed next to a path where you hiked to the third lake. Upon arrival in the valley where the third lake was found nearly dried up, one of the people in our group took out an Alpine horn and began playing the most beautiful music. Listening to the sounds of the song echoing through the valley was absolutely incredible. It takes you to the Toplitzsee lake which is only accessible on foot. There is a restaurant there that serves fresh fish from the lake.
