Pigeon Island, which adds to our history and culture is 15 minutes by a taxi, or better yet you can get a water taxi right there on the beach. I knew I am not paying a fortune and I am not in a wealthy country/island. We had enough space, and could walk to the beach or to the restaurants. We also could walk to a grocery store. We just came in a rainy season and I wish the beds had nets, because I got eaten alive by mosquitoes, mostly in the house. I also think, the house could be equipped better! There was absolutely a minimum amount of things. I was missing things like regular comforters in the bedroom, or salt and pepper in the kitchen etc. The washer and the dryer were also outside of the Apartment/house, which I found not ideal. The host offers a cleaning service, which can be very convenient for long stay guests. I personally didn’t like the fact that someone was in the house while we were there and asked not to clean in the rest of the week. Other than that, the location is perfect! You are close to a beautiful beach and to all restaurants and stores! The overall apartment was a bit tired and the cleanliness of the kitchen (particularly the cooker) could have been better but as we ate out we were not particularly affected. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a small patio area with table and chairs overlooking the pool area which was an oasis of peace and tranquillity. ##### Anne B.
