L'appartement est très propre, fonctionnel, calme et a une vue magnifique sur la montagne! Le propriétaire était à l'écoute, le lien envoyé avec toutes les informations utiles par rapport à l'hébergement (clés, WiFi,...) est très bien fait. (Note that train and bus transportation ends quite early in the evening, so you need to be careful about your timing when dining in the evening in town. Moreover, there are few taxis and the taxis are absurdly expensive.)Check-in instructions were clear and extensive – and very much appreciated.Rooms, while quite small by US standards, were adequate. Very clean and tidy. Also, very much appreciated.Kitchen was very useful and well stocked with appliances, cookware and dishes.There is a lack of light in the stairwell heading downstairs. More than once, several of our group tripped on that last step before the light turned on. Note to owners: a shower in the downstairs bathroom (which has the double sinks) would be more useful than a tub. ##### Thomas H. Séjour de 9 nuits en août 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Sonia B. 19 août 2025 Points forts : Propreté The location is great, the view is amazing as it faces the North Face of Eiger. The train is very convenient (and quiet) but the path is a pretty steep climb from the train to the apartment. Even though it was pretty warm when we visited in August, opening the French door and windows made it OK. Note-there are no screens on the windows. The information for how to get from the train up to the path needs to be MUCH more visible . You had to scroll down through the emailed information to see a section called “train” and that is where your instructions were for the use of the elevator and codes. When you have been up for 40 hours and the only sleep you had was on an international overnight flight, spotting that important piece of info was not that easy. And getting the luggage up the path is a challenge for people over 70\. Loved having coffee on the balcony and enjoying the view. Also, note that the beds only had thick duvets and it was summer with no AC. I had to remove the duvet cover and only use that for a topsheet. There were two small blankets in the room but they are not for summer either. No top sheets and no facecloths so bring your own if needed. Did love the apartment as it is as nicely done and the location and view were great. One of the pictures posted is from the Eiger Express gondola and shows the path and apartment building to the right of the path. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!! ##### Michelle G. Clean, fully furnished and just far enough away from the hustle of Grindelwald yet still in walking distance. Very comfortable home with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, and one incredible view! Easy to access from the Grindelwald Terminal train stop - 5 minute walk through a private door and private path and suddenly you are there! Porch and dining room with views of the incredible Swiss Alps - we sat for hours and enjoyed the play of light over the mountains while we dined and relaxed. The unit is very quiet - did not hear any of the neighbors the 5 days we were there. Easy 5 minute walk to grocery store for provisions. About 10-15 minute walk into center of Grindewald (and the bus system in this town is amazing - so easy to use, and always on time). Owner/management company were very responsive and helpful. A short walk to the us stop going into town. The perect location to enjoy some privacy and peace with the main strip just minutes away by drive, bus, or train. As much as we felt this was the best location in Grindelwald, the town of Grindelwald is the best place to stay in the alps. You can launch fromnhere to all of the hot spots by gondola, train, or bus -- or, if you have a car, a short drive. The hosts were amazing, informative, and communicative. We look forward to coming back to this spot in the future. ##### Jason T. Wir haben uns in dieser Woche dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terrasse und der Balkon erlauben entspannte Pausen nach dem Skifahren. The appartement is very well located at walking distance of the best cabin lift you could imagine as starting point for skiing. As if you would need to leave the house. The property was great for three adult couples. It was nice we each had our own bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped. The location from downtown Grindelwald is a bit farther than we expected. But once we figured out the bus system, which is free with the visitor's pass, it worked better than walking. Thank you for letting us enjoy your apartment. ##### Debra N. Property is well described and was well maintained. Location was a very short walk from a bus stop, and only about 10 mins with kids from the Grund train station. This meant we mostly could leave the car parked throughout our stay! Also appreciate the flexibility the property manner showed when we needed to extend our stay at the very last minute. ##### Sam C. The property was exactly as described. Everything was clean and in order. The view was amazing!! Check In/ out was easy. Close to the bus stop. There were maps and all sorts of information on the the things to do. We had a little problem with work noise nearby during some nights. However, Diarmuid was quick to bring brand new fans so that we could close the windows at night and still have some cool air. This place was so homey and comfortable for my husband and myself, my 2 kids and my parents. The kids thought the beds needed bigger comforters on them. They kept waking up uncovered. My husband would have liked a BBQ.
