The hotel room was clean and in good condition although the house keeping staff didn't service the room automatically. Check-in was smooth and easy. The hotel is conveniently located by Latrobe, Greensburg and Ligonier.

The Inn is run fairly well, but there are always things could be much better. My walk in shower had a lot of mold along the base. I purchased product to take care of it, but it took more than ten sprays/rinses to get it back. The toilet seat was flopping around, and I tightened it by hand. I use the steps, and they need to be swept. Should be a daily chore, but it was not done during my stay. Same for the laundry room. Should clean the floor and empty the trash bin daily, but I've never seen that. On the plus side, the breakfast is well done and the room and lobby area is kept clean.

Being a pet friendly hotel was awesome. Especially since they don't charge $$$ for having a small pet. The bathroom had been remodeled and was very nice. Bed and sheets were clean and decent to sleep on. Breakfast was simple and good/hot You can tell that it is an old hotel that they are trying to update. However, there are some things that still need to be upgraded. EX - the bathroom door didn't fit the space and didn't shut. The floor had not been cleaned in a long time. It was hard wood and not mopped in a long time. I wiped up some spilt water and the paper towels were black. YUCK! The smoke detector was missing. The door lock latch was missing the part that swiveled over to lock from the inside. Nice staff. Calling for AARP rate would have been better than expedia rate

Great rooms, had to stay in area for a Celebration of Life, and had to bring the dogs. It was great to have a nice place to stay and bring the dogs with us. Will stay here again when I come back to the area.

Absolutely outstanding stay. The hilltop location is special and the view looking east in the morning is breathtaking and peaceful. The room was spotless and comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. Breakfast was amazing with great variety and quality and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Staff was welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable place to stay.
