"A lovely start to a rocky adventure through the Mediterranean. I had a huge room (European hotel rooms are usually small) overlooking the city and Acropolis and my lovely hotel representative who checked me in upgraded me to that room at no cost. The hotel is immaculate. The breakfast options were good every morning and the staff hospitable. The rooftop hotel with a view of Acropolis is stunning. The Greek food was absolutely delicious. I stayed at 3 upscale hotels this trip. And this was the best one out of the three by far. The other two paled in comparison."

"My stay at Ermass Hotel was the perfect introduction to Albania! As a solo African American traveler visiting Albania for the first time, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel is centrally located in Durrës, making it easy to explore the city. There are numerous restaurants, cafés, and clubs just outside the hotel, and my room’s balcony offered a wonderful view of the lively surroundings. The airport is also conveniently located only about 20–30 minutes away. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, accommodating, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, making me feel safe, comfortable, and valued throughout my stay. They can also arrange transportation for guests, and the process was seamless and convenient. Breakfast was included with my package, and it was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options each morning. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the spa, it looked beautiful and is definitely worth experiencing. The gym was also clean and well-equipped. If you’re an American visiting Albania for the first time—or any traveler looking for outstanding hospitality—I highly recommend Ermass Hotel. The combination of excellent service, ideal location, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made my first visit to Albania truly unforgettable. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip!"

"Liked the hotel room was great. Staff were ok. The big let down for us was the hotels big selling point. The roof restaurant is amazing, the view can’t be beat. The service is ok but nothing special. The let down is the roof pool it was a reason for booking as we enjoy the sitting at the pool after the day out, there is zero shade you are getting blasted by the sun all day, it closes about 1900 even though it is still light and could be a relaxing time. On my one occasion up there there were a number of pretty drunk people and I felt sorry for the staff who probably did feel that they couldnt cut them off. Overall hotel is ok and in a good location but not amazing as it could be."
