Top Great Plains Hotel Reviews

Hyatt Place Peña Station/Denver Airport
8/10 Good
"When we checked in it was nice, quick and easy. We went to our room and put our stuff down before going down to get a drink. Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Got to the bar/restaurant area, and the poor bartender was alone with little help and constant customers incoming. All drinks were $20 each for a small! Crazy expensive. Made it long time to wait even to just get a glass of water. Nice gym. Heated pool we didn't try, but no hot tub. We got a rental car the second day we were there and the property told us it will be $17 per night to park on sight. When our mouths dropped, the hotel representative simply said, "Well we offer free breakfast in the morning so parking is a trade off." I don't think she knows that most hotels offer free breakfast and parking. Not a trade off at all. I would stay here again as it was nice and clean, but just be prepared for all the extra costs and wait times."

Booked this hotel based on its 4-star rating and appealing photos, but unfortunately, the reality didn’t match expectations. Upon arrival, it felt more like a 2-star—maybe a 3-star at best.
The property is very dated and lacks basic amenities. Housekeeping provides only two very small bars of soap (about the size of a quarter), which is clearly insufficient for a family of four staying five nights—you constantly have to ask for more.
There was no room service available during our stay, as we were told via text that they were fully booked. Hot water was inconsistent, and when we brought it up, we were told it happens when too many guests are showering at the same time.
The pool was frequently closed for maintenance, which was disappointing. Breakfast service was slow, and at one point they even ran out of plates. To top it off, the hotel bar closes at 9 PM, which is quite early for a property advertised at this level.
There are many other issues I could mention, but overall, this stay was very disappointing.
I would not recommend staying here—save your money."

Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station, CO

"I did not have a pet. But I like staying here."

Wyndham Midland Downtown

"I didn't think hotels even had rooms anymore that didn't have a mini fridge and a microwave but this place sure didn't! And the cleanliness in my room was awful. Some kind of stuff stuck on the tv stand, mold in the sink, my shower didn't drain and a cover was half way on that kept falling off. Major updates are needed here. Even the door hinges are so rusty they get wet and drip down the wall. The tv was so glitchy it wasn't even worth turning on.
I'd never stay here again!
Also, beds were not comfortable and the one I slept in wasn't even level!"

"This hotel was clean and had decent AC. The exterior noise was extreme. I was in a good comfortable bed with no sleep due to extreme exterior noise.
The room had no power either. For real, no power. I was so tired after skiing i just put up with it."
