This beautiful log and stone luxury home is surrounded by Pennsylvania farmland along with a back drop of blue mountains which provides a feeling of complete seclusion. Upon arriving to the farm, immediately seeing and hearing the soft sounds of the horses in the fields adds to a consuming feeling of peace and serenity.

Located in the heart of Central PA there are almost too many attractions to list from wineries, restaurants, outlets for shopping, HersheyPark and all its wonder to the vast covering Amish Country and all it provides. You may just choose to stay at the property and have a total equine experience, as well. Whatever your taste, this is a "must see" experience for anyone.

This home has various outstanding features to offer its guests starting with 3 bedrooms and a loft area to sleep, 3 baths and two living/family room areas. This home appeals to all levels of activity from playing basketball inside the half court sized garage, letting loose in multiple ways in the game room, swimming in the indoor pool, relaxing with a good book in the loft area to roasting marshmallows outside at the fire pit.

Skirted with porches and patios overlooking acres of beautiful pastures that encase a full working not for profit horse program and rescue facility. This spectacular home will appeal to all ages and groups, as well as being the perfect fit for extended family vacations, reunions or any size event occasion.

The pool, game room and basketball court was wonderful entertainment for the grandkids.However, the bedroom carpets were old and dirty. The kitchen table only had 5 chairs. The fireplace was broken. The showers were rusty from the well water.

We loved the pool area. The grandkids had a great time. They also loved watching the horses. The house could use a little bit of an upgrade. Only seating at the table was for 5 and two of those chairs had broken spindles so adults weren’t comfortable seating on them.

This was our third time staying here, and once again it exceeded every expectation. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and attentive... I was able to speak with one of the owners personally, and she was just as kind and accommodating as ever. You can truly feel the care they put into making every stay special.The amenities were perfect for our family/friends. The kids had an amazing time, especially getting to visit the horses on the working ranch, such a unique and memorable experience. The indoor pool was warm and comfortable, and being able to swim while looking out at the snow covered landscape through the windows made it feel absolutely magical.Everything was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s the perfect mix of cozy, fun, and relaxing. We made more wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to our next visit.We will absolutely be back again. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a special getaway.

A Wonderful stay at the "horse house" as always. Great for all ages. As always, the house is clean, orderly and well-equipped, and Lesley is very responsive to our questions. The indoor pool is a real treat! We highly recommend!!

We had a great time at the house and truly enjoyed staying there with our family. The location and space were perfect for a New Year’s getaway.As a few friendly suggestions for future guests: please be careful on the deck, and around the electrical fans near the house. It may also be helpful to have more paper towels available. The doors around the pool do not lock, so that’s something to be aware of.For entertainment, adding a pool table could be a great touch, and a bigger dining table would make group meals more comfortable. The beds were okay, though a bit uncomfortable .Overall, it was a nice stay, and we appreciate the opportunity to enjoy the home. Thank you for hosting us!

Worst stay ever and wedding was ruined. Power outage occurred and they allowed us to go all night without and water or electric when they had generators in the barn next door. Our family had to go to the store just to provide heat for our children because we kept being told power would be restored at different times and never did. It wasn't until the following day on my wedding day that we were offered a room to get ready in a couple hours before I was supposed to walk down the aisle. Even though she was aware the power was out still collected our money to be allowed to hold our wedding there. Knew we had family from out of state coming to the property and couldn't cancel the night before or day of. For our wedding we were given extension cords to plug 2 space heaters in for our guests. And some lamps. And a used portapotty from the barn workers for our guests to use the bathroom because of no running water or ability to flush the toilet. When we arrived the property was not ready and there were piles of horse feces in the front and back walkway, we told her while she was at the property because our dogs kept going to eat it and she said yeah dogs tend to do that, and never had it cleaned up. The gas fireplace did not work, when we went to use it she told us that someone cut the cords so it no longer worked. By far the worst stay the host made very bare minimal effort to make our stay comfortable, ruined our wedding, trip ended early because it was unbearable and no refund.

Everything about this experience was wonderful!!! Our host was fabulous, the house was the perfect place for a family to stay, and the location was very convenient. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. It was warm and cozy with so much for us to do. We will definitely be returning.

Welcoming to our entire family to include our dog. Home beautifully decorated for the fall. Waking up to the sunrise and horses grazing every morning was extremely peaceful and serene. Pool was a nice way to start and end our day. Leslie and Emily were fabulous hostesses and addressed any question or need that we had. Highly recommend.

We chose this home for our annual family Labor Day weekend getaway because of the relatively high VRBO rating and the advertised amenities. We were extremely disappointed when we arrived. The bedding was dirty, the floors had not been cleaned, one of the bathroom faucets leaked and didn’t properly drain so it could not be used. The owner did bring new sheets and changed the bedding and vacuumed. This home has so much potential but it needs a deep clean and some much needed TLC. The horses were beautiful as was the views of the surrounding hills. The pool and basketball court were fun.

Beautiful property! Very peaceful! We will be visiting again! The only suggestion I would have is to get the deck fixed. Lots of nails sticking up and there was 1 broken board that was replaced but wasnt secure and my right leg ended up falling through. I am ok just sore and scraped.
