We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. A warm welcome from owner Barney as I drove through the gate, helped to make the long day's drive evaporate quickly. Everything was there that I needed to make my stay restful and enjoyable. I suspect I was staying in a former "granny annexe" that had been upgraded to make it a home that was bigger than my London mews house. A beautiful breakfast was left in the small kitchen to serve myself the next morning overlooking the small orchard. Lots of information left in the lounge if I wanted to explore the surrounding countryside. After a great night's sleep in the big double bed, sadly, I had to leave on the next stage of my Edinburgh-bound trip. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. Its spotlessly clean & beautifully furnished. Located in a nice little village with a pub 9 mins walk away. The annex was lovely & warm when we arrived, fresh orange & waters were provided & cereals & milk for breakfast. Also mixed berries, bread, jam, toaster & microwaves. Breakfast when we liked, a sitting room too. Situated in a quiet area of the village within easy walking distance of the attractive village of Castle Bytham.
