I just wish we could've stayed more than one night. We opted to do the Lake 22 hike prior to arriving and were treated to some very typical seasonal weather. So by the time we arrived to the cabin, we were soaked to the bone. Walking in to the cabin, we were immediately warmed just by the coziness of the place. When I say they nailed every detail, I mean, they nailed absolutely every detail. We stripped to our skivvies and got into some comfy clothes and warmed ourselves by the fireplace. Enjoyed some wine, chacuterie, and great company as the rain continued to fall throughout the evening. Time felt as if it were standing still in our little cabin tucked into the mountains. We woke up and took a stroll along the river just outside our door before regrettably packing up and heading out. When I think about the the absolutely ideal cabin, this is it.
