I think I was the only person on the whole property during my stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the lakeview cabin very much. It rained the duration of my stay, but the porch overlooking the river allowed me to sit outside and read my books while listening to the sounds of nature. Thank you for accommodating my dog, she travels everywhere with me. She also enjoyed being able to sit outside and stay dry! The only things that were missing were utensils, paper towels or napkins, and dish soap. I wasn’t able to clean my coffee mugs before my departure. I rinsed them out and made due. Overall no complaints, I had an amazing stay!

This is a hidden gem of a get away. Fresh and clean decor. Great for families with a lot of things to keep everyone and children busy or relax. Amenities are basic and everything works and is clean. Nice people too! We didn’t eat at restaurant due to our timing but was glad it was there since this place is off the beaten path by 30-40 minutes. We would definitely visit again!

We stayed there Saturday night because we were in the area for softball tournament. We didn’t get a lot of time to spend at the cabin, but it was super clean! What a hidden gem for a place to stay. Definitely would stay there again!

We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin and were only supposed to stay one night. Upon entering our cabin, I immediately went to the front desk to extend. They're so cute and cozy. Not to mention - the restaurant on site is amazing!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had such a fantastic experience staying here! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy — everything we were hoping for and more. From the moment we arrived, the owner Scott made us feel so welcome, and his staff were some of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever encountered. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the attention to detail in the rooms made it feel like a home away from home. You can really tell they care about their guests. We’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit. If you're thinking about booking — do it. You won’t regret it!

Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. The few staff that were there were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again for a night of quiet and solitude, but would bring a few thing with me for more comfort. A few things that was missing though. I paid for cabin with gas fireplace and it didn't work and no one was on property to deal with it. There was no blankets other than thin bedspread which meant I had to turn up the heat and would have rather had a real blanket. And there was no real garbage can other than a very tiny one in bathroom. If you need utensils or anything like that you have to get it from the restaurant before it closes.

We loved the picturesque views of the river and our bed pillows were very comfortable. There was a cleaning product odor that overpowered the room at first but the room was spotless. We were disappointed that the restaurant was not open.

The resort and cabins were clean and well maintained. When we arrived to check in, there wasn’t anyone there. Finally we reached someone by phone to get access to our lodging. The website said complimentary toiletries, but we only had one small tube of shampoo. No hand soap at all. The WIFI was not reliable and that area has no cell service so it was frustrating. The pool was attractive and clean, but no toilet paper in either men or women’s bathrooms.

Nice and quiet cabin. The heat was off when we got there so it was 55 in the room, but it heated up pretty well with the wall heater. The pool was closed both days, the whole reason my daughter ever wants to go on vacation. The room was clean and comfortable but don't want for extras, its just the basics which can be nice sometimes.

The Staff was helpful when they were available. The pool was closed all weekend long. I don’t recommend the basic cabin no seating besides on the bed. Restaurant extremely pricey, food was good though.

This was our first stay at this location. My wife and I purchased a property about 20 minutes away and we were headed up from home to do some maintenance over the weekend, and I wanted to stay somewhere new. We normally stay in West Branch and I'm not too familiar with much else in the area. I happened to just come across this location and was pretty impressed by the pictures online. I booked a regular suite and did not know that the resort pretty much shuts downs down at the end of the second week of October. It just so happened that we benefited from this because we were upgraded by the owner to a deluxe river cabin! These are huge! Large bedroom with king bed, in room jacuzzi, decent sized kitchenette area, large bathroom, fireplace and a large, covered porch facing the river. The location is right on a bend of the river which offers spectacular views, especially with the trees in peak fall color! I was very impressed with this area and until we have our property developed, I will definitely be stopping back in during the summer months to check out what they have to offer during the busy season!
