"This property was located close to the center of the trulli town. It was a wonderful little home. Two bedrooms, a beautiful spacious bathroom and a small kitchen. The only down fall was that we left some desserts on the counter and the next morning they were covered in ants."

"We chose the hotel as it was close to a wedding venue we were attending. The garden is well kept and very pretty. Alex was very helpful keeping us supplied with drink and sandwiches when needed. We have to give a shout out to guiseppe and his sister for picking us up from the train station and not only that guiseppe kindly gave us a lift to the next hotel."

"Great place for a couple of days in Matera. Really friendly staff, the breakfast was good for being Italian breakfast and my room was clean and had an lovely bed. If i ever go back to Matera I'll chose Il Carrboro again. "

There is a ventilation system, but the house carries a particular scent, perhaps typical of this type of construction. The location is very safe.
