A very nice yard area that chalets typically do not have, in a great location, with a beautiful view from the upper deck. Spotless and well-equipped, and with excellent communication from the owners. Plenty of space to spread out and it was so nice having so many bathrooms. The kids loved the loft/play area and the parents loved the privacy - no cabins within sight. My only complaint is that google doesn't map you directly to the house. It maps you to an intersection of three roads and you have to take the dead end road on the right all the way to the very end to get to the house. This isnt obvious. The mountain view is excellent! We did have a bear show up our second night...large black bear...and a small cub. It wandered around the perimiter of the house but did not come up on the decks. I noticed it while it was still in the driveway. Note that if you are on the back deck enjoying the view you wont have any idea a bear decided to wander up there unless you hear it coming or until you see it about 15ft from you...and they do come up there. There are scratch marks on the siding and windows where they try to get into the house! If this is a concern for you, you may want to look somewhere else (and i dont mean another cabin, i mean another location that isnt the smokey mountains because you can have this bear problem anywhere in this area). Other than that, this cabin was outstanding. Would certainly go back again! ##### William V. The property had ample space for two families of 4 - we didn’t even use one of the bedrooms! The outdoor areas with the fire pit and gravel area were a huge bonus, the kids had plenty of room to pass the football and play corn hole. Location to downtown Gatlinburg was about 15 minutes, Pigeon Forge via the by-pass was about 20 minutes. Couldn’t have asked for a better location/house/views/outdoor area for a family spring break! The views were great in the morning. The game room and theater was great for the kids to hang out giving the adults time to “adult.” The fireplace was great (the one on the porch had some issues, but the communication was good with property managers. Our family of 7, kids ages 16-2, and one set of grandparents joined my husband and I for a short vacation. It was absolutely wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking plenty of meals, comfy beds, loads of games and the most beautiful views!
