Enjoy any of the several local wineries, or make it an adventurous vacation by taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer from biking, hiking, tubing and rafting, to scenic driving, shopping, or visiting one of the location events, amusement parks and more! If you decide to leave your mountain paradise you will find you are not far from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Hiking at Greenbriar, or all downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. You are also a short back road drive away from the heart of Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede, or Beyond the Lens. So no matter what you are looking for in a vacation. This amazing log cabin is located away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far out. The stunning spiral staircase leads to the upstairs loft room, which has a pool table and a sitting area for entertainment. It provides a pleasant perspective of the rest of the cabin and connects to the arched window where you can take in the breathtaking mountain views from this home via a bridge that looks like wood. The town of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are both easily accessible from this cabin, which is only a short distance away. Trolley Rides One of the best and most efficient ways to get around Gatlinburg is by using the Gatlinburg Trolley system. Uber, Lyft and maybe a Taxi It is possible to book an Uber or Lyft but not guaranteed. You can also find taxis in the area. Another easy and fun way to get out and see the city is by renting a scooter! Kids and adults alike think that this is a great way to explore the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. There is a bathtub right in the middle of the main floor, so unless its just you and your wife or whatever, you cannot take a bath per se and have any sense of privacy. The wifi was super slow, so much that we could not use it. The TV in the main bedroom worked the first night but not the next morning. Again all because of the slow wifi. The deck railing was super loose so we could not lean on it. The mattress, well all of them were super uncomfortable to say the least. It was like sleeping on a few blankets piled on top. The game system, the floor model, did not work at all. I tried various plugs but nothing. Some of the plugs did not work either. So yeah, not a good time. So much so we left after one night. Yeah we wasted money on this place. I will not go back to this cabin nor can I recommend it to anyone else. Oh yeah, the back door, that leads to the deck, the top lock would not latch so we did not feel safe at all. ##### Paul M.
