Black Light Mini-Golf, Full Game Room! Powdermill Point is the ultimate luxury getaway, mountain retreat home, being fully updated in 2021. Situated on a 5-acre estate, this property offers complete seclusion at the end of the road, while providing easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. With over 4,500 square feet of living space, plus phenomenal year-round, long-range views of the National Park, your biggest decision will be whether to spend your time indoors or outdoors. This 6 bedroom, 4.5 bath home has something to offer for people of all ages. Arriving at the property, you’ll appreciate the abundance of flat area parking and be drawn to the manicured landscaping. The breathtaking mountain views are primarily seen from the back patio, but as you approach the home you be drawn by the inviting front porches that are perfect for gathering and your morning coffee. As you enter the home, you will feel the attention to detail in this well decorated, but cozy home. All the main entertaining and living areas, except for the theater room, are on this main level. You will immediately be drawn to the expansive game room that features a wall of windows, whose view will captivate you. The game room includes an Olhausen pool table, Brunswick air hockey table, 2 arcade games, 2 TVs and an abundance of seating options to accommodate large groups. Just off the game room is the well-stocked kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances, that will make cooking a breeze. Also on this level is a separate den with a electric fireplace, offering the perfect area to catch up on your favorite reading or simply relax after the day’s activities. When you’re up for a little challenge, all ages will enjoy the custom indoor 9-hole, black light mini-golf course. This is definitely a unique and fun feature you won’t see often and one that the kids won’t want to leave. Of course, if they do want to leave, they’ll most likely want to kick their feet up in the enticing theater room sofas. Make sure you utilize the lighting features on the sofas, as the kids will love that as much as the huge 82” television. In the evenings (or anytime for that matter), all the family can gather on the large back patio for either outdoor dining or to simply take in stars, under the string lights dangling above the fire pit. This is where memories will be created! When it’s time to call it a night, four of the homes’ six bedrooms are on the upper level, including the Master King Suite featuring an oversized, tiled walk-in shower. Just didn't like the surveillance. We enjoyed the amenities. The place is super clean and well taken care of. The cameras are just looming when you go to a place so secluded. I don't believe they are used to spy, and probably more for safety. We enjoyed the seclusion and great views of the Smoky Mountains, while still able to access all the activities that the National Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge had to offer. Our very first night, we were sitting outside around the fire pit when a large black bear came strolling past us. (less than 15 feet away from us) The bear did not even glance at us, just went on his way. Excellent! The grandkids loved the black light mini-golf and theater room. The overall rating of only a 3 is because of the cleanliness of the home. I believe the cleaning crew should have done better. ##### Carolyn L. The house was perfect size for us, and we loved being located in a more private area rather than right in Gatlinburg. Had groceries delivered to the house so we could cook some meals there rather than eating out multiple times a day. Overall, we had an awesome vacation. The kids kept themselves entertained with all of the amenities and the parents enjoyed the beautiful backyard. The house was spacious and was just as described. Only complaint I had was the water pressure was low in the master bath, so running two heads at once was underwhelming. One drawer/cover in the master bath was broken up on arrival, but that was no issue. Overall my family enjoyed the place and I would return in the future. Thank you. ##### David C.
