On the grounds of an old blacksmith's shop, you'll find the stylish maisonette apartment "Alploft 1" (for up to 11 people) and the cozy alpine-style apartment "Alpchalet EG" (for up to 4 people).

The approximately 185 m² "Alploft 1" apartment is located in the heart of the lovingly restored former blacksmith's shop and combines historical charm with modern living comfort in an industrial style across two levels. The heart of the apartment is the light-filled living and dining area with an open, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. Traditional architectural elements recall the history of the house, while modern amenities ensure all the desired comforts. For relaxation after an eventful day, there are four comfortable bedrooms (two with double beds and two with a double and a single bed) and a sofa bed on the open gallery. The apartment also features three modern bathrooms and a furnished terrace with a barbecue. Your four-legged friends are also welcome.

You can park your car directly at the house, and there is also ample storage space for bicycles and skis.

The central location between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald, in the small Garmisch district of Kaltenbrunn, is the perfect starting point for a variety of activities in every season: long walks around the surrounding lakes, hikes and mountain bike tours in the warmer months, and unlimited skiing and snowboarding fun in the winter. Access to the cross-country ski trails and the Kaltenbrunn Biathlon Stadium, home of our local Olympic champions, are within easy walking distance. Downhill skiers can enjoy the "Garmisch Classic" and "Zugspitze" ski areas with their diverse slopes and unique scenery in just a few minutes by car.

By car or public transport, you can reach the Olympic Ski Stadium with the Olympic ski jump, the Partnach Gorge, the Hausberg and Eckbauer cable cars, and the historic Ludwigstrasse in Partenkirchen in just a few minutes. The pedestrian zone in Garmisch, with its various shops, tourist information center, spa gardens, casino, theater, etc., as well as the violin-making town of Mittenwald, are definitely worth a visit.
