I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores. The hotel is about 12 minutes from the center / Marienplatz. The staff was helpful. The views were breathtaking. The room and property were charming and cozy. There is no ac, but we didn’t really need it. There is an elevator. It is in Partenkirchen, which we just lucked out on being the better choice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful! The breakfast and the dining room were amazing! It was the best breakfast we had eaten in our 11 days in Germany. Super convenient with choice of restaurants and a pharmacy directly across. Furnitures look more than two hundreds old, including bed frame. But bed mattress are firm and comfort. We were meet with moist warm towels to freshen up and glass of champagne while checking in. You are right in the heart of great food and drink and hiking trails. The gondola to Wank Mountain is a 25 minute walk away. Worth it!! The room was a bit warm and he found a standing fan for us. He also recommended nearby restaurants and was generally very helpful. The room was a bit dated but that was to be expected for an old hotel. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the water was hot. Such interesting history, so charming. Located right in the middle of the old part of town. Close to buses and trains. The only thing I would have preferred would have been a fan in my room. I’m used to not having air conditioning in Europe, especially in a centuries old hotel, but a regular fan would have been a godsend.
