Great place, quiet, will definitely stay again Highly recommend

Such a charming Inn and wonderful staff.

I made reservation on Expedia for myself and my son (9 years old), nowhere did it state that children had to be >10 years. I also sent a message to the hotel prior requesting confirmation that my 9 year old son was welcome- I received no response. When we arrived at the hotel (after a long drive from San Francisco) we were not greeted with a kind hello but with a mean snear from the InnKeeper. The first thing he did was glare at my son and ask how old he was. My son was afraid and this set the tone for the trip. The Innkeeper was not welcoming and he rushed through our tour of the property. My son was afraid for the entire stay that we would be kicked out. My son is calm and quiet and we mingled playing chess with other guests. We did not feel welcome at all. The "chef prepared" breakfast was just eggs, bacon and fruit which took an incredibly long time to make especially considering we made a reservation for a time slot. Eggs were too buttery, fruit was good, bacon was delicious but not enough, coffee was weak. Not sure why the hype on the breakfast. The "Tea time and wine time" is only from 4-5 despite the website advertising 4-6. The finicky Innkeeper cleaned it up prompt at 5 which I thought was a little cheap. The wine and snacks were cheap anyway. The property is beautiful but we will never stay there again or recommend it unless we are contacted with an apology for ruining the start to our trip.

the only thing "boutique" about this hotel is the name. room furnished with stamped metal chairs and table, tiny bathroom, and breakfast buffet consisting of dry cereals, pre-packaged baked goods and over ripe bananas.

Clean room. Very friendly family owns this place. All very helpful with great pointers for us out of towners.
