This home is reminiscent of the Wisconsin cottage on water’s edge — with privacy and your own little piece of solitude, on the end of a quiet road leading to it with no thru-traffic. Surrounded on two sides by the peaceful harbor as the waterway winds around the point— either out to the bridge and main entrance to the lake, or further deep into the calming harbor. Gooseneck Point easily accommodates your family of up to 6 ... with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Upon entering this cute and well-maintained cottage, you are greeted by the open kitchen with counter for seating and eating. There is plenty of sunshine into the living area and dining table with large picture windows facing the harbor. Quietly relax in the living room from your upper vantage point, as you watch the few boats float by your windows or curl up here with a good book. All the bedrooms are on this main living level, with a hall bath just off the kitchen. The hall leads down to the master bedroom with king-size bed, full master bath and walk-in closet. The bed faces the patio doors which lead to a lovely sitting deck, overlooking the waterfront point and shady open yard. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee from the deck, of have a few cocktails as the gentle winds subside into evening. This yard is like having your own private sanctuary, where you could sit and daydream or easily launch a kayak or canoe to row further along into the gentle back waters. On the other side of the home is the dock for keeping your boat in the water during your entire stay. And enjoy yard games and your own peaceful campfire pit as you watch the lovely sunsets. Gooseneck Point is close to the lakeside county park with beach and playground equipment, marina for filling up your boat gas tank, restaurants, and convenience store. We had a dock and going in and out on the lake was perfect. If I had one critique it would be the wifi signal. It was weak and our devices didn't work.
