Well appointed spa and dog friendly hotel within walking distance to town and the Friday Harbor ferry terminal. Quiet clean rooms set back from the main street, very comfortable beds, and nice amenities. Staff and manager were very friendly and helpful with arrangements. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We recently stayed at Earthbox Inn & Spa on San Juan Island and had a wonderful experience. It was a comfortable place to come back to and relax during our island getaway. The staff was great and made us feel welcome. Their friendly service was one of the highlights of our stay, and we appreciated the hospitality. We really enjoyed our room, and the bed was especially comfortable. Having a great place to rest made our visit that much more enjoyable. We would happily stay at Earthbox Inn & Spa again and recommend it to anyone planning a visit to San Juan Island. Thank you to the staff for helping make our stay such a pleasant one!

Nice place to stay. Great location. The only slight negative was we were right next to the pet yard and had a very noisy dog next to us. Not really a complaint though, we knew it was a pet friendly property.

This was a good place to stay on San Juan Isle. The pool, hot tub and amenities were great and the staff was excellent. The only issue was noise, we could hear most everyone next door and above us. It wasn't s huge deal but certainly not 100% ideal.

I gave this lodging a low rating because it was not worth the price. It is clearly an old motel that has had some minimal upgrade for considerable price. They replaced old carpeting for wood floors and added a white comforter and duvet that looks clean and lovely. But the place looks like, feels like, and smells like an old motel. So price is just too high

Amazing location in Friday Harbor! I love a good motel for easy of use in parking directly in front of your hotel room door but this place took it to another level with wonderful seating areas, a breakfast cafe and amazing plantings all around.

Property was in a great location, not a far walk from many places we were going. Property also had a cute spot in the front with a bench and path with trees and flowers. We had so much going on that we didnt have time to take advantage of hotel amenities, since we were there for only 2 nights.

We stayed at Earthbox Inn and Spa for 2 nights in July. The room was clean and was on the top floors, so we also had a nice little patio with partial views. The check-in process was smooth, the staff helped hold our bags till we could check in. There's a cafe within the property, which we found was decent if you're in a rush (or maybe we just ran into them on a bad day and had to wait 30+ mins for a smoothie and coffee). The pool was nice and so was the sauna — it was pretty crowded when we wanted to use the pool, but that's expected during the summer. All in all, a great stay and walkable to most of the shops. We enjoyed being close to everything and appreciated the free parking on-site.

Great location, within walking distance of the ferry dock and restaurants and shops in downtown Friday Harbor. Remote check-in process was easy and seamless. The property feels slightly outdated, but is generally clean. The daily housekeeping service did a great job of keeping our room clean and well-stocked. The room has a microwave, minifridge and small coffee maker with cups, creamer and sugar. The only small frustrations were that they didn't remove used coffee mugs for multiple days (though they did replenish them with clean ones); and there was no silverware available, so if you didn't happen to get any with your restaurant left-overs, reheating and eating them in the room was a bit inconvenient.
