Kick back and relax in this calm, peaceful space located off the Indian River Lagoon in the historic Susannah pioneer settlement four miles south of Forth Pierce and 12 miles north of Jensen Beach, Florida. Enjoy afternoon breezes, sunsets over the trees out back and beautiful sunrises on the river out in front of the main house. Quaint Mid-Century two bedroom cottage located on Indian River Lagoon. Completely renovated with brand new kitchen and bathroom. You will see all kinds of local birds like Brown Pelicans, Ospreys, Swallow-Tailed Kites, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Ibis, Frigates, Whistling wood ducks and Sand Hill Cranes who are often found walking up the driveway and in the back yard. Often you will see dolphins swimming and playing out front and occasionally a manatee will slowly swim by. Florida is know for its wildlife. Remain aware and do not feed or approach the wild animals. There are railroad tracks at the back of the property. For your safety, please do not approach or cross the tracks. Some of the trains travel at a high rate of speed. The speed limit on the road is 25MPH, however use caution and not all obey speed limit. There is a covered parking place in back of the cottage with one space and additional parking if needed on driveway. The common laundry facilities are located in the carport behind the main house and is shared amongst the three dwellings.
