Pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful spot right on the intercoastal with boats passing by every few minutes. Pool was heated (on request) and we spent most of our days lounging by the pool enjoying the scenery. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, 1 mile loop within a gated community. Close to beach and many restaurants. My family of 5 (3 kids under 10) loved the property and will definitely be back. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend this property to anyone looking for a well kept home right on the water!! ##### Keri S. No surprises at all from the description given. Darwin was an awesome host-so eager to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our flight home was delayed and he was so kind to allow us to stay a little later on our check out day. The outdoor space is huge and the view with plenty of furniture to relax, read and enjoy the views of the wide opening of the intercoastal (felt like we were situated on a big lake). Ship watching was fun too! The house is near many restaurants, great shops and Lauderdale by the Sea. We drove to the beach every day and Darwin provided all the gear we needed. We have rented a number of other “similar” houses. Others were advertised as on the Intracoastal, renovated and in great neighborhoods. The others fell short in one way or another. This house met all of those (apparently) lofty standards. In addition to the house and hood being great, the owner is a true pleasure. He was responsive and a real pro. We plan to return! The house and deck have a nice variety of seating and eating areas. The walk to the beach is very pleasant, down a quiet street, and takes around 10 minutes.
