Fort Augustus is a great place in which to enjoy a holiday in the Highlands. Enjoy the events along the Loch and return to this comfortable ground floor apartment in the beautiful Abbey. Sleeps 2+ guests with a sofa bed in the lounge to accommodate a maximum occupancy of 4 guests.

Beautiful holiday home in a beautiful Monastery so close to Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Raven Wing 1 looks out onto the extensive lawns across the cricket field and the mature trees of the abbey grounds are visible through the large picture windows. Central heating throughout.

In the open plan living room you will find large a comfortable sofa and chairs, large TV and free wi-fi in the apartment. The sofa can also be used as a sofa bed if required.

The kitchen has lovely granite worktops and is fully equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, 4 ring gas hob, electric double oven, microwave and washer/dryer.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and there is a sofa bed in the lounge to accommodate 4 guests. The bathroom has the convenience of a powerful shower over the bath.

The Raven Wing apartment can be booked for your holiday, mid-week break or weekend away. A perfect location for touring

Great stay in Fort Augustus

The old fort that became an abbey in mid XIX century is a really nice place to stay on the Loch Ness shore. The place has been restored and maintained in a very good way. Wherever you stay, you can enjoy all areas of the abbey. And hiking trails are close by. Really nice stay. I recommend it:

The location and the amenities here cannot be beat. Its a wonderful place to have as your launch off point for the highlands. My issues are very minor. I thought the bed was a queen, but it was a double. I am a larger lady so my husband and i were cramped while sleeping. I am sure average sized folks won't have a problem. Its just something to be aware of. Also, we were very warm in the unit. We couldn't figure out how to make it cooler. Communication with the host was great, but the property manager who met us was a bit rude.Again, these are minor issues. The pool and lounge are somehow better than advertised. We used them both a few times. The gounds are gorgeous in the fall. Really good experience overall.

When we first arrived the flat had the most horrendous stench, they tried to cover up with air freshener. There was a lot of mold in the washer and that took care of most of it. Also had problems with smoke detector, making cooking a bit difficult, but property management took care of everything in a timely manner and our stay wa perfect. Location couldn’t have been better and we were very very comfortable. Would recommend this place to my best friend!

Very peaceful stay in beautiful setting

The Abby and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The rental was just as described. The location is perfect for a day trip to the Isle of Skye, the host was very accommodating even though we arrived later than expected.

rainy but great accommodation

Great Location

We recently spent a week in the Raven Wing apartment. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The photos accurately depict the apartment. The old abbey (now the Highland Club) is a beautiful old building. It is about a 3 minute walk from the apartment to the heart of Fort Augustus with its restaurants and shops. Despite its proximity to the heavily touristy area, the grounds and apartment are peaceful and quiet. Beyond Fort Augustus, there is lots to explore in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous apartment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay in Fort Augustus. The apartment was perfect for our needs, clean, quiet and comfortable - it had everything we needed. Plenty of easy parking and handy to shops and pubs. We can recommend Raven Wing 1, and hope to stay there again one day.

Absolutely Perfect!

I was so excited when I booked this place. I thought it was too good to be true! When we arrived we were met by a member of the property management team who showed us around the Abbey and ensured we had everything we needed. The apartment was so cozy and a perfectly relaxing place to chill after the busier parts or our holiday in the UK. The area has plenty of shops and dining that are a short walk away. If you want to do more than chill, there are many activities that are a short drive to get to. Parking here is plentiful as well.

Perfect stay

Great few nights on Loch Ness. The apartment is well equipped and in a great location. The communication and check in process was very easy. The extra facilities at the Abbey are a great bonus feature.
