Modern house providing indoor and outdoor space to enjoy, located in a rain forest pocket, within walking distance to the the beautiful Elizabeth Beach.   
Heated outdoor spa in private 'oasis' with heated outdoor shower.  
European build with double glazed windows, lots of timber giving it that 'holiday feel' as soon as you walk in.  
Modern fully equipped kitchen with all that you could think of to cater for up to 14 people, as well as outdoor Webber BBQ.  
Plenty of space and beds. Can sleep up to 14\. Outdoor table with seating for 14.  
  
4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms are 3 private Queen size rooms, 1 Queen size Loft Bed, 2 bunk beds each with double mattress on the bottom and single on the top.  
  
Nestled in a rain forest pocket and walking distance to Elizabeth Beach, Booti Booti National Park and Lake Wallis.   
This modern, comfortable and distinctly "homey" house provides a peaceful location to rest and unwind. It features open plan living and a huge covered deck and in the garden you can relax in a heated spa under the stars.

"Deck the halls - what a fabulous location to spend time with family! With more than enough beds to sleep 2 young families, we were able to celebrate a memorable Christmas, and cook a substantial Christmas feast for everyone with an impressively stocked kitchen. There are more appliances, bowls, glasses, baking dished and cutlery to use whilst another whole set in in the dishwasher!  
The huge deck is a beautiful place to relax and drink a few glasses of wine whilst catching up with friends and family in a serene and private space.  
The only background noise is the ever-chirruping cicadas, and the beach is an easy stroll down the street. Great location, fantastic generously furnished house with ALL the comforts of home - in fact, their kitchen was better stocked than mine!!  
We hope to return some day :)"

Fantastic house for a long weekend getaway. The house is filled with everything we needed for a comfortable and practical stay. The kitchen does not disappoint, the deck is the perfect size for a large group, the close walk to the beach and the Recky. Perfect for entertainment and relaxiation. Thanks Betina!!

We did not receive a property that appeared professionally cleaned. Dirt was in every corner, and the front yard was covered with dead branches and chopped tree debris.The listing advertised two bathrooms, but one is a converted laundry room with no exhaust, leaving the ceiling covered in mould. This is a health concern.By the second day, the upstairs shower stopped working due to its age. Twelve people had to share one shower for the rest of the stay, which was completely unacceptable.The pillows were old and uncomfortable, and the overall quality did not match the price we paid. Several ground‑floor door knobs were rusty and difficult to use, showing poor maintenance.What made the experience worse was receiving pages of excessive “house rules,” including instructions to vacuum the property. These were sent after the cancellation window had closed, which I consider bad‑faith practice.The spa rules were so restrictive that they effectively discouraged us from using it at all.If these are your expectations, they should be disclosed before booking. Transparency is essential.Finally, the listing claims the property is “Lakefront.” This is false. A lakefront home sits directly on the shoreline with immediate access to the water. Your property is at least a 12‑minute walk from the lake. This is misleading and should be corrected.

The Deck was a beautiful and easy stay for a group of friends to get away and enjoy the beach, Blueys, and an event at The Recky. A very versatile property, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication from Bettina was clear, thorough, super friendly, and appreciated.

#### What a week/weekend!

We booked the Deck for two nights for a big group of friends to stay whilst visiting for a wedding. What a weekend to have a wedding, during the biggest floods the general area has ever seen.Betina was a fantastic communicator and kept in touch providing updates. Myself and my wife did not end up travelling down but our friends did and loved the place and the area. Hopefully next time we will be able to experience it as well!

This is our third stay over the last few years. We love the location, private space and expansive deck. The kitchen is always well stocked and the house has a beachy, family friendly vibe. The older kids absolutely love the spa too. Thanks again for a wonderful week away with my family

#### House was great and in an amazing location

The house was great and in an amazing location. There were a few niggly things that could have made our stay more comfortable though. The circuit in the room downstairs kept switching off during the night so the fan kept turning off which made for a very uncomfortable stay for one of the families we were with. I messaged the house manager and he advised it was a known issue, they just didn’t know what was tripping the circuit. It would have been nice to have been told this before or offered compensation as it effected one families whole experience at the property. I have stayed at many rental properties and have never seen so many rules for a house before. It was a bit much and we felt like we had to constantly check if what we were doing was ok.There was also not powerpoint outside, so to be able to turn on the mozzie catcher out there we had to lead a big cord through the house which is unsafe with our young children around. The bunk room also didn’t have a fan.We tried to put the safety gate on as we had young children with us, but not all the pieces were there so we were unable. Most of us did have a great stay and I would recommend it to friends, but maybe not in the stinking hot summer and with as many young children as we had. The house had a dishwasher which was great, a big deck which was amazing and the best eating nook that the children loved. For the price, this property was fantastic!!!

#### Lovely place, with a few issues

The Deck is a wonderful house, perfect for a family gathering and brilliantly located. We had a great time.However - there are a number of issues that could be improved. The biggest issue is the long list of cleaning expectations placed on the guest - it's fairly overwhelming and frequently threatens with the loss of your security deposit. Washing dishes is a reasonable expectation, but shaking out doormats and mopping floors is a bit intense.When we discovered that the previous guests had obviously not followed many of the rules, we were a bit stressed that we would be blamed. We provided feedback on these issues but never received a response.All in all the stay was pleasant, but for the premium price I would expect a little more hospitality.

#### Elizabeth Beach Long Weekend

We spent the June Long Weekend in Betinas Elizabeth Beach House. The house was clean with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the deck was large with plenty of seating and Betina was quick to answer questions and very informative. It was only a short walk to the beach and we also enjoyed the spa. Thank you for helping create wonderful weekend for my family.

#### Amazing location close to the beach

The Deck is a short walk to the stunning Elizabeth Beach, and a drive to Blueys and Boomerang beach. We adore this area and were very lucky with the weather. The Deck is well equipped and comfortable and perfect for a family weekend trip.

Had a fantastic long weekend with family. Beach, booth booti trail and weekend markets within 5min walk. Furniture is a little dated but house has all amenities needed. There was some dust around the place so plenty of sneezing. Spa was a hit with the kids, especially on cooler days when the beach was a no go.

#### Relaxing and connected to nature

The Deck is in a great location, close to beaches, the lack and some nice clubs, yet you still feel immersed in nature. The place is set up well and has some friendly kookaburras that kept us company in the late afternoon. Recommend.

We stayed at The Deck for a Family Christmas - the property was well equipped for everything we needed, especially given we were hosting Christmas lunch for us all and within walking distance (for the young ones!) to the gorgeous Elizabeth Beach! Also to the infamous ‘Reccy Club’ for sunset nibbles and cocktails!! Everything was as described in the add, The outdoor spa and warm shower were an absolute treat, paired with the huge deck for endless hours of outside fun! Would recommend to all of my family and friends - only downside was the onslaught of mosquitoes and bugs, but that is the consequence of backing onto such a beautiful rainforest! Definitely recommend the property but that you also pack bug spray, coils and candles!!

#### Beautiful House

We booked this accommodation for our wedding to stay with our bridal party. The house was perfect! Its located so close to Elizabeth beach, has a beautiful leafy backyard and an impressive deck. The host Betina also was exceptional to communicate with and even gifted us a celebratory bottle of bubbles. We will be coming back!
