Carson National Forest Tours and Activities

From the welcome cookies and fruit bowl to the butler service offering coffee or tea and chocolates at turn down to the fantastic wine and cheese evening hour to the full continental breakfast, our stay was wonderful. Every detail was thoughtful and the staff could not have been more welcoming. The shuttle service is a nice amenity as well. Beds were luxurious and the room was larger than most newer hotels today. Loved the fireplace in the room. There are so many walkable shops and restaurants in the area. The Native American art collection in this hotel is amazing.

We checked in with two young kids around 10:30pm after our flight got in. Upon checking into our room we realized it was dirty. There was a used robe on the bed and neither bed was made. No clean towels in the bathroom and a visibly dirty shower mat. We went to the front desk to be switched into a clean room so we could move on with our night and get our young kids cleaned up and put to bed. The options we were given was to either wait 30+ minutes while they cleaned the room or switch to a room without hot water. This is unacceptable! The only reconciliation was a free breakfast at their restaurant. On top of that nightmare, the heat in that room didn’t work our entire stay and there were tiny black bugs crawling around the walls in our bathroom and sleeping area. Completely disgusting. I will never stay at this place again. It has almost ruined my family’s entire trip to Santa Fe. We had much better service and cleanliness from Bishops Lodge.
