Enjoy the best possible site for visiting the St John's area. a
Approximately 20 minutes from the airport, this house has it all, with plenty of outdoor seating, wooded area behind the house, ocean in front. Great for families or couples. Twenty to twenty five minutes to downtown St John's and it's fine restaurants and art galleries as well as its colorful houses. A big attraction here is the close access to the East Coast Trail, just minutes from your front door.

As you enter, you immediately know that you are in a special place. Facing you is the large and extremely well equipped kitchen, a sunny family room and a dining room and living room with a panoramic view of the ocean and the surrounding cliffs. Open the door and step out on the veranda which surrounds three sides of the house. Sit on the colorful Adirondack chairs and take a deep breath. You realize that you have arrived in the vacation home of your dreams! Take a stroll through the garden where you can, in season, pick fresh lettuce, Swiss chard, green onions for your salad plus a variety of herbs.. Enjoy the flowers and trees on all sides. In September there are potatoes, carrots and turnips.

Upstairs has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom with queen mattress is large and bright with windows facing the ocean. You will wake up to the gentle lap of the waves against the shore or maybe the crash of waves against the rocks. The master bath has a walk in shower, plus a free standing tub, perfect for relaxing in after a long day hiking or sight seeing. All the bathrooms are well supplied with soap, shampoo and conditioner and lots of good quality towels.
The second bedroom also has a queen bed and own bathroom . It has an ocean view plus a view of the valley to the west.
The third bedroom is located in a Casita situated next to the main house. This very pretty and spacious room has a queen bed and full bathroom. Two large windows provide excellent light plus a great ocean view.

The laundry room, with detergent supplied, is located on the second floor.

If needed, a fourth sleeping area would be in the family room, where we have a sofa bed to which we add a very comfortable double mattress. As this is not a private space we would recommend it only for children. But many adults have slept there without a problem..

If you like games, we have Bocci and croquet. For indoor fun, card games and scrabble.
