This cottage is part of a condo association, located right off of Main Street/ Hwy 42 in downtown Fish Creek. It is two stories and features 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The living room also includes a queen sofa sleeper. This condo has a fully stocked kitchen, dining table, snack bar, first floor laundry, a back patio and an in-ground, community outdoor swimming pool which is open seasonally. All this and you are within walking distance to everything downtown Fish Creek has to offer. This location is also great for groups-- we offer Yellow Birch Cottage and the Retreat at Sunshine Creek at the same location. Can pretty much walk to the local restaurants as well. It’s a nice drive to either Ephraim or Sister Bay to the north and Egg Harbor to the south. Enjoyed hiking in Peninsula State Park and to the top of the tower. Ferried to Washington Island and a Sunset cruise which we brought our dinner with and drinks. Overall, this property was very clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed our short stay very much! The location is ideal for walking around Fish Creek and being central to the peninsula! (This is not something to include in the review, and I didn't contact the property manager because we were there for such a short time...but if there is central A/C in this unit, it was not working or controllable by the thermostat. We instead went to open a few windows to find that there were no screens on the windows at all. Thankfully, we were all adults so I wasn't worried about safety. However, I also chose not to open the windows so as not to let in bugs! So we were a bit warm overall. As a mom, though, if I had been staying here with little ones, I would have been extremely concerned that if a small child figured out how to open a window, they could lean over curiously and fall right out without any barrier to help prevent it. Must be new to renting because everything was brand new and in the packages was really nice! The parking/driveway is extremely tight and a little confusing. Maybe post a sign on which two parking stalls belong to the house? We had two SUVs and we couldn’t fit that well and backing up was a challenge due to the houses being so close to one another. BUT there was always parking on the street so wasn’t a huge issue. Neighbor watched our every move and was extremely rude. Otherwise we had a great time and would recommend staying! ##### Allyson N. The bathroom pocket door in the room with the twin beds could not be closed. The hook used to pull the door out of the pocket was missing. I contacted the management company and they apologized, but did nothing to correct the problem. The bathroom vents and floor had hair and dust on them and the dining room table and chairs were very uncomfortable to sit at.
