Sooooooo smokey. As a former smoker this was bad even for me. Even the rooms smell like smoke. I would not recommend this place to anyone that is sensitive to smoke. The food there was overall fine. The gambling was fine, but we felt the tables were too high for the traffic.

If you enjoy historic homes and the quirks that come with them, this is the place for you. We stayed upstairs in the main house, and it was absolutely charming. Our bathroom was a masterpiece. The bed and linens were super comfortable; the house was well-maintained and well-decorated with charming gardens. The breakfast was delicious including the home-made bread. If I had to do it over, I would have checked more closely and gotten a ground-level room since I don't do well with stairs.

This place was great. Very friendly staff. I loved the kitchenette. It was nice to have a fridge, and dishwasher. I was just staying a few days but had everything I needed. The morning breakfast was awesome as was the pool area. I will differently look for them when I need a place to stay again.
