I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Although it might seem a bit dated it was excellent value for money. The hotel was spotless and the room was clean. They have a very safe buzzer entry system and a 24 hour staff member so great for family’s. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and basically rescued us, letting us into our room at 8am at no extra charge. The room was super spacious, with loads of space for the family, a large bathroom, a fridge and a huge balcony. It was right in the centre, 10 minutes walk from the docks to catch the ferries to beaches. Would certainly stay again.

I was only in Faro for 20 hours but this hotel was clean and centrally located within 10 minute walk from the bus/train station. The staff were friendly and I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is close to tourist attractions and restaurants. However, it was very dirty when we arrived and they did not clean our room the next morning. Bathmat, rugs and sheets had stains on them and there were bugs crawling everywhere.
The location of this place is excellent , it’s secure and generally quiet - you can hear some noise from other rooms.
The room is very clean but very basic and small. It’s functional and has good WiFi and air con and a fridge which is very useful. Furniture is like student accommodation - functional basic but ok , bathroom is clean and shower is fine , powerful but needs an upgrade to shower unit . You wouldn’t be sitting around in the Room as little space and furniture but this had a balcony no view but can sit out.
Staff are very pleasant , bring google translate app as some have little English but very helpful . The appearance on arrival is concerning as it looks like a locked up building but you ring to be let in and there is staff on the desk 24/7 to get in an out so secure. ( you have to leave key at desk each time leave which is positive and negative. )
There is ‘seu cafe ‘ around the corner - food was very tasty and very cheap for what you get. And there is another little coffee shop nearby which was lovely. There are loads restaurants 5 mins walk, bus station is 7 mins. Location is excellent. Taxis are not cheap nor are the main tourist type restaurants and the food was very poor in one place but priced high so shop around carefully.
If you want a hotel for the hotel and longing in it this is not for you.( no bar.no pool , no facilities except rooms. If you want a cheaper base to Be gone all day and just sleep then this is very good. It is purely functional.
Booked through necessity as flight was cancelled near midnight. Wanted to be central and near airport for return (once known). Hotel is situated in one way street near Faro city centre and all the sights. Unfortunately due to the lateness of the hour the night porter dealt with the bookings and this took a v long time, plus we were allocated a room that was street facing and noisey. Perfectly ok room with shower and air conditioning. Clean and suitable for 1-2 nights to explore Faro.
Our flight home was cancelled due to the power outage and as our original hotel was fully booked, we had to find another hotel with available rooms. The hotel was cheaper than we would normally spend, but we were very pleasantly surprised to find a decent sized bedroom, good sized bathroom and very friendly staff. We arrived to a very stressed reception team working in candlelight, but they were happy to give us some food, water and candles! The location is good for the best restaurants in Faro and the marina. The breakfast was definitely typical for a budget hotel, a basket with pre-wrapped bread roll and pain-au-chocolat and a bowl of fruit. We have no complaints though as we weren't paying for the room! If you are looking for a friendly and not expensive hotel in Faro, I'd recommend Adelaide Hotel.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
Little to no WIFI and Buzzer Access Only.
The room was comfortable. However, the wifi was horrible and unusable which is not acceptable in today's dogital age and the need to stay connected via all of your devices. I also did not like that everytime you go to the hotel you have to press a buzzer and wait for someone to come to the door to open it to let you in.

Overall clean room, couple tiles that were coming loose in the bathroom. AC was perfect and cold. Only issue is that for a 2 star hotel it’s still expensive for what I paid for 2 nights (€250 before city tax) which is about the same price per night I paid for a 4 star hotel in Lisbon which was evolution valbom hotel. Really only had the basic needs and charged a bit premium for that.
Staff were lovely and reception is 24 hours which was perfect because we went to watch Kanye and came home at 0230 AM.
Solid 5/10
A simple hotel in the centre of Faro, close by walk to the old town, bus terminal, sea (ferries). Our room was ok, with a very big terrace. Even a small fridge was there👍
Very helpful man at the reception.
