Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended. »

« We had a wonderful stay at The Grand, York. The rooms are big, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the shower was powerful and relaxing — exactly what you want after a long day. The food was very good, with great quality and variety, and the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. Every member of staff was happy, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made the stay feel extra special. The spa was absolutely amazing — a real highlight and perfect...

« The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances. I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available. The staff I met were also friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend...

« This is a lovely modern hotel. The decor is beautiful with really unusual lightning, chandeliers, wall colourings and pictures. It is fresh, but comfortable. All staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and shiny. The rooms are well laid out, with sufficient furniture for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is superb. Laid out ready to help yourself to whatever you fancy, with a wide choice of food. Again the waiting staff were charming. Only slight...

"Hôtel correct mais ne correspond pas aux standards d'un 4\*. Il n'y avait pas de rampe pour les valises. Les personnes à l'accueil étaient très agréables lors de notre arrivée mais plutôt désagréables lors de notre départ. La douche n'est pas pratique, n'ayant pas de pommeau, et il n'y avait qu'un bonnet de bain pour deux. Le chrome cast était défaillant. La vue et la literie étaient agréables."
