I had such a beautiful stay at Villa Neroli—it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt peaceful and refined, like a hidden retreat just outside the busy city center. The grounds are absolutely stunning—lush gardens, a gorgeous pool area, and quiet corners that make it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Florence. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel elevated without being over the top. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was recommendations for dining, transportation, or just making sure we were comfortable, they went above and beyond. The breakfast was also a highlight—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day before heading into the city. If you’re looking for a stay that combines quiet luxury, comfort, and easy access to Florence, Villa Neroli is a perfect choice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and highly professional – honestly, I’ve rarely experienced this level of service. The hotel is in a perfect location, right in the city center, which is a huge advantage. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality accommodation.

Amazing service and staff. Wow!

We stayed at Il Malaspina for 6 days this April and everything about the hotel was perfect! We got there early on check in day and they held our luggage while we went out to lunch. When we returned not only was our room ready, but our luggage was already in the room waiting for us. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and left it immaculate. The first night our room was a little warm for me and I couldn’t figure out how to get it cooler. Went to the front desk the next day and they are able to control each rooms temperature, so the rest of our stay the room temp was just right. Now the breakfast, omg the breakfast! A huge variety and so so good. You feel like you are at an upscale restaurant and there is such a good variety we didn't get tired of it even after a week. In fact, I am really missing the pistachio croissants now that we are home! Hot eggs, bacon, sausage every day, plus a wide variety of cold meats and cheeses. Yogurt, tons of pastries, toast with many toppings, and probably many things I’m forgetting. Plus a variety of juices and a very fancy self service coffee machine that can make about 8 different drinks. The hotel is in walking distance to every thing in Florence, longest walk was about 40 min to Piazzele Michaelangelo but so worth it, don’t miss sunset there when visiting! Very convenient to SM Novella train station for traveling outside of Florence, but far enough it feels extremely safe at all times of day and night. Cannot recommend Il Malaspina enough!
