« For what you pay, this is an excellent place to stay when visiting Hereford, but it is really a room only property. It is situated a couple of miles outside Hereford, in a quiet countryside setting, so is nice to unwind at. There is a continental breakfast available for only £5, but this could not be booked through the Expedia site. « The room was lovely and big, bathroom very clean and staff all friendly. About a half an hour bus from Hereford town. There was an issue with the wifi in the room though, so had to use my data to work remotely. »

« Lovely B&B the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and free parking, wi-fi and 10 mins drive to Hereford. The host Lorraine was brilliant and allowed early check in too, as we arrived early. Overall a great experience. Thanks »

« This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton. »

« Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old. »

« The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! »

« Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend »
