This amazing home boast 3 oceanfront bedrooms with gorgeous panoramic views from sunrise to sunsets, and all with their own private decks! Great Expectations is nestled right in the heart of Emerald Isle, making all of our amazing local shops, restaurants, and family-friendly activities just a short distance away. This house is equipped with high-speed wireless internet for your convenience. There are also five new "smart" TVs, new dishwasher, new washer/dryer, new mattresses new water heater, and a fully-equipped kitchen with all you could need and more! You will find 2 Keurig coffee makers, drink and wine cooler, a slow cooker, and a blender in addition to all of your basic kitchen appliances! The furnished decks are the perfect place to sip a morning coffee or an evening cocktail while you watch the sunrise and sunset over the rolling waves. Welcome to Great Expectations!

The property was comfortable, well-organized, and had everything you would need. We had a family trip of adults and really enjoyed our stay. The view and balconies are wonderful. Nice touches everywhere—like front porch swing and extra coffee makers. Check in and out was a breeze. Location can’t be beat. The host was helpful and communicative. Definitely recommend!

This house was the closest to the beach that we have had in our 13 years of family vacations at Emerald Isle! The host helped us along the way and was available by text if we had any questions about where things were or how to make something work better in the house. There were directions with each TV and with the thermostat to help those who were not familiar with the technology. The house was well appointed and the kitchen had dishes and knives that worked great, pots and pans that were easy to use and skillets that didn't stick and burn everything! They even had a griddle so I could make pancakes and French toast for the masses. I am very happy with this house and the entire experience we have had from before we came to Emerald Isle through our checkout process.

We thoroughly enjoyed the direct access to the beach. Bedrooms and Bathroom were verywell situated. Open living space was very accommodating for our family’s needs. Loved the swing on the deck. We had a great stay.

Thanks Giving at the Beach

My family of 12 ages ranging from 8 to 64 had a lovely Thanksgiving. We were able to cook a full dinner. We all sat around a large table. after dinner stroll the beach in the moonlight, and play games. This was enough room for everybody to be very comfortable, spacious different games and conversations were held. No one was bundled up over each other, the water temperature was great. The water drainage was excellent. The house climate was great cleanliness was great.. The beach views from the house were magnificent. Our family was very pleased with the property .

Family Beach Stay

We loved the location and the easy walk to the beach. The proximity of the next-door pool could have been problematic, but the group there was friendly and easy to share the walkway with. The spaces in the house were perfect for our group, and the third-floor space was not too hot. The three-bedroom balconies were great. The third-floor bedroom lacked a closet, so some type of wall rack for hanging things up would have been helpful. We did have a lot of flies inside and out (time of year) so some type of bug deterrents for the house would have been helpful. We used the grill, but had to do a lot of clearning/scraping first. Kitchen well appointed and furnishings and bedding worked well for all of us. One big recommendation is to have at least 4 simple/lightweight chairs to carry down to the beach. Our stay was lovely and the property manager was very helpful and kind when we had an issue with the door lock. Thank you.

Family reunion

Property was nice on the inside. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. Not much in sitting area on balconies. Older uncomfortable chairs. Dining area nice and spacious. Kitchen spacious but not well stocked for cooking large meals. We had 7 adults and cooked every night. Skillets were old cheap and scraped up. We went to Walmart to buy new skillets. NO serving dishes at all. Pots were nice size. BBQ grill was rusty , moldy and full with old ash and charcoal. Took some while to clean, cover and utilize to grill the steaks we brought, otherwise would have not bought items there to grill. No beach chairs provided. Would have been nice to know since we all drive a long distance to get there. I think the property with some changes would be very nice to goto again. Make some changes in marketing to include no beach chairs and no grill , so can come better prepared. Property hosts were quick to respond with problems so feel like they will make those changes if aware.

Great family week!!

We had a great family week at the beach! The house was wonderful-exactly as shown in the pictures! We cooked in the kitchen which had everything we needed to make family dinners. The best part was the three levels of outdoor porches where we could spend time in smaller groups or if we needed a quiet moment. The host was very responsive to our few questions and requests. All in all, five stars!

Amazing Stay!!!

The house was exactly as described. It was clean, stocked with everything you would need and even had a bbq grill. The views were amazing and it’s right on the sand!!! . Tony is a great host and communicates better than any other that we have rented from. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Expectations Exceeded Expectations!!

This was our first trip to Emerald Isle and we are hooked! The house was perfect for our group and the property manager (Tony) was super responsive and helpful. He even brought us dinner our first night bc we arrived too late for restaurants! The location is perfect. Quiet neighborhood and centrally located. The house has some age on it, but it’s well maintained and well appointed. We will be back!!
