"This is a great waterfront home for a bigger group or family! Our family of 9 (6 adults, 3 kids) has an annual fish camp vacay in Alpena & this house had plenty of space for everyone to be inside and/or outside at the same time without feeling crowded. The kitchen is stocked with everything to cook, including plenty of spices! The house has a dock & the boat launch isnt far up the road- makes it handy if you bring your own boat like we did. Even better yet, its pet friendly so we were able to bring our dogs with us! We had a lot of fun catching fish, kayaking (host provided), grandsons loved the basketball hoop in the drive, enjoyed fresh fish dinners and of course, going to Scoops downtown Alpena for ice cream. Did I mention the amazing sunset views? A lot of bald eagles in the area too, cool to see! Our hosts were awesome too- very communicative, responded quickly & made sure we were comfortable the entire stay. We plan on coming back for fish camp next year!"

"Super cute home. It is stocked better than 90%of the vrbos we have rented. The coffee/snack station was an unexpected surprise. The cut flowers were a thoughtful touch. The view of the lake from the sunroom was spectacular. We used the kayaks and the lake is so quiet with only a few boats on occasion. My husband caught 3 pike right off the dock. We made a fire one night too. Our bulldog enjoyed the spacious yard. Thank you so much for sharing this home."

"The lake view was very exciting. Walking into the property all you saw was a lake and a forest of trees on the opposite lake side. The view was excellent from the whole back of the house. Plenty of fire wood was available for our stay. The house was open and clean. The boats kayaks and the peddle boat were accessible and functional. Lots of wild life to be seen including a bald eagle that fished right on our shoreline for three days. We even saw a loon everyday! We will return to this property again as the trip was overall positive."
