Located on the water on scenic Rowleys Bay, this rustic home is the perfect place for restful relaxation and water sports! The cottage sleeps up to 6 people (2 queen beds and one twin size bunk bed) and includes a fully furnished kitchen, living/dining room with fireplace, screen porch, two window air conditioners in bedrooms, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, kayak launch and lounging deck right on the water with a 48' dock that you can pull your boat right up to and tie off. There is a free DNR boat launch less than 100 yards from the cottage that has Kayak and Paddle Board rentals, off-road Segway tours from Off-Road Adventures. There is a nice sandy bottom public swimming beach/park less than 3 miles away on beautiful Sand Bay. The cottage was clean and came with all the necessities one would expect. Our family of five had more than enough room…not often that you find a three bedroom cottage on the lake at a reasonable price. The location is perfect in that all the attractions of northern Door County are a short drive away, and you can come back to the cottage to relax. Our kids really enjoyed swimming off the dock. It was even more wonderful than she said. Clean. Amenities up to date and in good order and it's right on the bay. Got to see the sunrise each morning, and watch the great blue heron and loons in the afternoon. Good location, isolated but near anything we wanted.
