This little gem is the perfect spot for any visitor to call home for the duration of their stay on this wonderful island. Built on an old Apple Orchard that was developed into a small dirt-road neighborhood with a colonial and cozy feel, it makes you imagine you have traveled back in time. Walking up to the home you are greeted by a classic rocker porch where you can spend your mornings. Step inside and you are welcomed to an open concept kitchen-dining-living space that allows you to easily entertain friends and family alike. This home is a 1/4 mile from Cannonball Park, a village green that is routinely decorated by the town for holidays. Across from the park is the library and school playground. Edgartown Golf Club is less than 1/4 mile away, a great place for morning walks. Three-quarters of a mile east you find Edgartown’s Main Street and downtown, including the wharf, harbor, shopping, restaurants, and the Chappaquiddick Ferry. Oak Bluffs downtown and ferry dock are only 6.5 miles away. Take the scenic Beach Road and go over the famous Jaws Bridge only 3 miles away! Vineyard Haven is just over 7.5 miles via the inland route. Be sure to stop at Island Alpaca a half mile past the rotary – a fun place for everyone! Home away from home

This is such a comfortable home that caters to families, friends and is dog-friendly. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed many walks into historic Edgartown for dining and shopping. Perfect location. I highly recommend this home.

We love staying at Old Orchard! The house has a perfect layout with plenty of space. A great spot for the dogs, the fenced in yard is a huge bonus. Plus close to Edgartown.

This was our second stay at the property, we came back because it was such a great stay the first time. Great location close to Edgartown, plenty of space for us and the dogs. Kitchen is clearly labeled, which means it’s super easy for us to navigate cooking during our stay.

Wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

From check in process to check out, it was incredibly easy and convenient. House is conveniently located near downtown Edgartown which made it super easy! We brought our dogs and the fenced in yard was key, super dog friendly. Overall was a great stay and would stay again! Thank you for a great trip!

Excellent Property!!!

Just finished up a family stay. Plenty of room for everyone. House is well supplied with everything you need including linens, which is not typical on the island. House is also well stocked with games and puzzles for when the weather doesn’t cooperate. You also couldn’t ask for a better location, short walk to town, restaurants, Stop and Shop and a bus stop for every destination on the island is at the end of the street which made it very convenient to visit the island without a car. Highly recommend staying here, kids are already asking when we can come back.

Overall great location and enough space/if not more for a family of 3! The house is a tribute to a family member and this is very lovely- I would say a bit outdated / a bit too much furniture but one can tell it is well cared for property. Would stay again, no doubt

Location was great. House was in a quite area close enough to walk into Edgartown. The house had everything available if you just wanted to stay in and cook or grill for dinner. Games, Wi-Fi, and cable were all available for the few rainy days while we were there.

Great Location and great for dogs

Perfect house for a weekend getaway. We were able to bring our black lab and it was perfect for him with a fenced in yard and one level house. Very clean, and conveniently located close to downtown. We were able to walk to dinner and shops each day. House needs updating but worked great for us. Would stay again.

We had a great time staying at this house with our 2 dogs. Plenty of room and great deck! Kitchen was very convenient for making a few meals. Also only a 5 min drive to Edgartown! We loved driving to the lighthouse after dinner and walking the beach. Thank you!
