Two approved dogs with a maximum weight of 90lbs each dog only. \*\*\* This charming and well decorated 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home in the heart of Eastsound Village offers so much, for so little cost! Downstairs the open floor plan invites you to relax in the living area, share a meal at the dining table or whip up a snack in the well equipped kitchen. From the living room door step onto a great porch with chairs for relaxing with your morning coffee. Out the kitchen's double doors open onto the patio and lawn with a cozy picnic pavilion where you can enjoy your evening cocktail or wine next to a crackling fire. Upstairs two comfortable bedrooms invite you to unwind with new mattresses and linens. The larger bedroom provides a luxurious King bed, seating bench and spacious closet. It’s walking distance to downtown and all the amenities, grocery store etc. We were here for a wedding and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. We took the cute little path towards the back of the house into town. Lots of blackberry bushes around the property which gave off wonderful fruit. Check in process was easy, although the property manager is totally inflexible with check in/out times. Somethings to note, this part of Eastsound is directly under the flight path and especially during busy summer months you will hear loud plane noise throughout the day. Also the home is in a small complex with 6 others and they are very close together - so you will hear every noise from your neighbor and unfortunately ours were quite noisy. The house could use new pots and pans, but the beds are decent. Overall we loved our stay on Orcas and can’t wait to return! ##### Ron H. The property was very relaxing and very well stocked for anything we needed, from a step for our kids in the bathroom, slow feeding dog bowls, and all the kitchen tools we needed. The other buildings are very close and the small airplanes would fly over, but overall was still quiet. Everything in town was a short walk and it was centrally located on the island. We did go in the off season, so a lot of restaurants and stores were closed or had adjusted hours, like closed on Mon, but the grocery store was close by and had plenty of stuff. The location close to all the shops in Eastsound was fantastic. We walked to town most days. The airport is very close so it wasn't as quite as we were thinking being on an island would be. Reservations, check-in, and stay instructions were easy. The house was CLEAN and comfy. Lots of DVDs and games to keep us busy on a rainy afternoon. Reviewer Comments: We had such a great getaway at Hook, Wine and Sinker. The location can’t be beat, with a quick walk to all of the Eastsound shops and restaurants. We were surprised by how quiet it was, even though we were right in East Sound. With allergies and immune issues, we were also very grateful for unscented soaps and cleaning, and for how careful everyone on Orcas was about safety during Covid. And we saw a huge owl!
