The home is within walking distance to the amenities of Rosario Resort, which include dining, pool, outdoor space, kayak tours, whale watching, and trail access to Moran State Park. The large deck has a table and chairs to help you complete your grilling festivities during those beautiful island days. After moving inside you will first notice floor to ceiling windows that showcase areal views of the waters of East Sound. An open living room is complete with propane fireplace and flat screen TV. The TV is connected to streaming Direct TV and has Netflix, Hulu and HBO ready for use. The opposite side of the great room is a dining room table with four comfortable chairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to create your island meals. As you enter the master bedroom you will first notice the copper ceiling panels which frame in a skylight that is above a king size bed. What a beautiful spot to star gaze! The shared hall bath features a tub shower combo. The low loft area is perfect for kids to enjoy. There are two single beds on a soft carpeted floor. Before you enter the half, loft area there is a sitting room with love seat couch that is great for reading. The love seat can be pulled out to make a third single bed. Throughout the home you will notice stunning local island art and furniture. The home faces the west and with the high bank waterfront and large deck you are sure to enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets that Orcas island has to offer. House does not have air conditioning. This home is people friendly, and not pet friendly. It was very quiet here, broken only by the occasional sound of a landing float plane. The cabin is equipped with everything one might need - from the kitchen to the bathroom and bedrooms. The wi-fi and TV systems worked flawlessly. The deck is very spacious and the views spectacular. We even had an occasional visit from an unafraid forked horn buck, still in full velvet - beautiful. The cabin is within easy reach of anywhere on the island and we explored it from end to end. Really nice hiking trails at Obstruction Pass State Park. It was the perfect location for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and bird watching. Very convenient location in close proximity to Moran State Park, the Rosario resort, and Eastsound. The home was beautifully designed with gorgeous water views, clean and well equipped. King size bed was firm and comfortable with nice linens, very nice towels in bathrooms. The views are amazing, and we sat by the fire, looking out the windows much of the time on our stay. We truly relaxed there. We had everything we needed, with a fully stocked kitchen, and the beds were so comfortable. We walked down to Rosario, and loved that we were so close to Moran State Park! The property is beautiful, well maintained and equipped. Close to downtown area (eastsound) and to Moran state park. Cozy Our first morning greeted us with a pink/rosy dawn tinging a glorious, indeed enviable view of the water as we drank our first cup of coffee, with a warm fire keeping us snug. A short drive to ‘the town of East Sound or Rosario Resort occasionally beckoned, affording us quality coffee or cocktails as desired. We loved the views of the water watched numerous boats, sea planes and birds. Large Lot with deer and birds visiting often. The house is comfortable with one king bed and two single beds in the nook above the garage more for kids than adults. You can walk down to Rosario harbor and the resort in a few minutes. About a 15 minute drive into Eastsound downtown area. ##### Kay M. Obviously we enjoy it very much. Great location – quiet but near enough to many activities, restaurants, Eastsound, etc. Great for a couple. Or for parents with small children – the smaller bedroom is a loft. A place for real relaxation, or as a base for Orcas daytime adventures all over the island. Would rent again for sure. ##### Tom O.
