The house was well appointed and in a great location on the bay side. We really enjoyed the multi-level deck and fire pit. The bay was super calm and would be great for families with little kids because the water looked shallow and there were no waves. The beach was rocky rather than totally sandy and anyone looking for shells will have to go to the ocean side of the Cape. Neighbors were close but quiet and respectful of one another. House had many amenities and was close enough to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores on the north shore. Private road in and out was pretty bumpy but if you took your time, it wasn't an issue and it certainly cut down on traffic. The location on the secluded private beach is perfect and the house has great outdoor space for the family to gather. The inside is a little small for rainy days with kids and the “lower level” rooms are really a damp moldy basement inaccessible from the main house upstairs (you have to go outside to get to the basement). We ended up not using the basement rooms at all because it was so uncomfortable down there and we didn’t want our infant sleeping so far away from us. Luckily we all fit upstairs and we had a great time, but the basement shouldn’t be advertised as a functional sleeping area. ##### Matthew H. Only problem is access- if you have trouble getting around, it may be difficult to get from the parking area to the main floor. We did not have issues, but were planning to bring my parents.
