### Toast Lettings | Kirkwood Drive, a 4 bedroom townhouse close to Durham City

Kirkwood Drive is a beautiful area on a safe estate close to Durham City Centre.  
  
On entry is a hall way with fully equip kitchen including appliances such as oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and kettle. There is also an extendable dining table in the kitchen which seats up to 8 people. Next to the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and additional sink. Also on the ground floor is a light and airy double bedroom with an open wardrobe and bedside tables. Off from the kitchen and bedroom is a toilet with sink.  
  
To the first floor is a large lounge area with tv and a light and airy twin bedroom with wardrobes and bedside table.  
  
On the second floor is the master bedroom with a zip and link bed which can either be made up as a superking bed or two singles. The master bedroom also benefits from an ensuite with toilet and shower. Next to the master bedroom is another light and sleek double bedroom with ample hanging space in the cupboards and a chest of drawers. Also on this floor is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.  
  
To the rear of the property is a secure back garden (garden furniture will be available in spring and summer months). There is also a garage to the rear of the property with parking outside of it as well as on street.  
  
Kirkwood Drive is a safe and quiet estate close to Durham City. The property faces onto Ustinov College and there is also a playing field at the back of the property which would be suitable for children.  
  
Durham City Centre is around 15 minutes walk from the property though there is an Italian restaurant at Nevilles Cross and a pub serving food called The Duke of Wellington.  
  
If you exit the estate you can get to a bus stop with regular busses running in and out of Durham every 15 minutes.  
  
Durham train station is also around 15 minutes walk from the property and from here you can get to Newcastle in under 15 minutes and York in around 45 minutes.

We were a group of 8 (over 60s) and we really enjoyed our weekend. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We loved the location as we could walk to cathedral, Crook Hall gardens and to the centre of Durham.
