« House was very clean. Some shampoo… some soap and toothpaste supplied. Kitchen supplies…condiments , clothes detergent, toilet paper… you will need to buy. For any home in Villages… it would be good to better understand the golf cart paths… give more instruction. We used the maps app on our phone and put in for 🚲 since carts and bike paths are shared in The Villages. It took a a day or two to figure that out… not all roads are golf cart friendly. Mark was great about switching out the bikes...

« Decided to stay here for a fishing trip and scouting possible retirement communities, the house has a history but it well suited our stay, neighbors at super helpful and friendly. Only thing I would have changed would be the two twin beds in the bedroom, the couch too uncomfortable for 2 older adults but we moved the twins together and made the most of it. Had an emergency and left the night before but wished we could have spent longer here. »

« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« Our family of 4 stayed here in May 2024. We will definitely be returning! The house was immaculatley clean and had everything that we could have possibly needed. « Our stay at the house on the water was quiet and enjoyable. We got to see manatees right off the property seawall. Also got to see otters from the property. Kayaks available enabled us to see Emu Island and more manatees. Joanne was a great host and also interesting to ask questions to about the history of the area.
