 A wonderful little cottage with an abundance of character, boasting everything you need for a week (or more) away. With a large master bedroom, nice sized bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Nearby is a village pub and road links to Dorchester, Weymouth and others on the A35\. The owners left contact details in case of emergencies, but otherwise were not intrusive. Upfront contact with the owners was plentiful, access to the property was easy and directions easy to follow.. All in all a wonderful stay.

We loved the property - small but perfectly formed! It was in ideal location for visiting Dorset with day trips easily accessible; Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach, Poole, Dorchester, Swanage and Corfe Castle to name a few. Lots of National Trust properties to visit too - particularly for Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence. We found wonderful gardens - The Walled Garden at Moreton, and Sculpture at the Lakes was truly spectacular! We couldn’t have received a warmer welcome from the owners and glad we heeded the tip to eat at The Thimble Inn - again, really lovely welcome and good food all in quick walking distance. We had a perfect stay - slept really well in large and airy bedroom, and enjoyed the downstairs space too, Kitchen is wee but full of character. A lovely quirky cottage.

Way's Forge is a quirky, convenient accommodation for exploring a wide variety of locations in the area and further afield. . It was a very comfortable stay and we enjoyed it very much.
