We booked the Economy Double. We were rather disappointed at just how small the room was although it was nicely finished. The bed was the smallest type of double at 4ft and after the first night we would have liked to have moved to a larger room/bed for our second night. But we were told that it wasn’t possible even though 5 of the 7 rooms were clearly unoccupied which surprised us. Also the day we arrived was really cold and there was no heating left on in the room and it was several hours before it warmed up. So all in all bit disappointing. Presumably the Budget Double is even tighter on space than the Economy Double. No surfaces to place any belongings (make-up etc.) Extremely small shower room, with an inconvenient shelf above the small sink, which had a crack in it. The road was busy and noisy. The room door required muscles to push or pull it open as the closer has been set incorrectly. The stairs and landing have been set up for easy cleaning, but, will need carpet to be less noisy. Sea view?
